"When you flush the toilet in bathroom it makes a horrible loud noise. Info on apartment states it has washer and dryer - it does not. It has a washer and a hanging rack. There was still food in fridge and cabinets, was only given 2 towels for 4 people. Beds are close to floor and are horrible. No roller paper in one of the bathrooms. I truly wanted to walk out. "

"Malmaison group have an "interesting" house style which to some is progressive , to others oppressive. On my first visit for some 10 years, (when such style was more suited to advertising "Hip Style") , I found the house style remained to me, oppressive colour wise (dark green and red predominate, accentuated by low lighting levels in room, corridors and lift). By contrast the staff were uniformly professional , friendly , and helpful, and the bar and restaurant well lit and pleasant (although the "trendy" menu was not effective in distinguishing course choices, and was in very small print.) The parking lot is inadequate for customer numbers, causing negativity around travelling to and from the hotel, with few alternatives around the parking lot. On one occasion we parked in the next door hotels carparking, with my making half hourly journeys to assess if ANY space was available. On seeing a car depart (on my 3rd visit) I hurriedly ran next door , brought my car around and parked, just as another car followed close behind me, and had to leave wihout finding a space. Overall I would classify this basically good hotel as providing style over substance (the single lift had padded walls, presumably to message "high class", but led to comments around " the padded cell for insane occupants)"
