Mai`s Rock Cabin with Mountain Views

  • Welcome to Mai's Rock, a private cabin with lovely mountain views! Located only 10 minutes south of Brevard, this rustic cabin is ideally located for guests coming to the area to hike or ride in Pisgah or Dupont Forests, explore and dine in downtown Brevard, or enjoy a show at the Brevard Music Center.

    Upon entering this cozy home, guests are greeted by cathedral ceilings and an open living area with a gas log stove, a comfortable sofa and chairs, a 48" Roku Smart TV, and a dining table with seating for six. The kitchen has all the dishes, pots and pans you need to prepare meals and is complete with a gas stove, dishwasher, and a coffee maker. The covered deck with views of the mountains is a great place to relax and enjoy outdoor dining. After dinner, there's a private outdoor fire pit to roast your s'mores.

    The primary bedroom of this cabin is located on the main level and has a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub/shower.

    Bedroom 2 is located on the lower level of the cabin and is complete with 2 twin-sized beds, which can be pushed together for a couple, if needed. The lower level is also home to a second living space with a futon (sleeps 2 in this common space) and a second full bathroom. The lower level living space has a 40” Roku Smart TV for guests to utilize their own streaming accounts.

    At the end of a long day exploring the area, grill out on the back deck while soaking in the views and then make some s'mores in the fire pit. Whatever your agenda for your trip to the Brevard area, Mai's Rock Cabin makes a great home base for your adventures!

    As your host during your stay, White Squirrel Realty is easy to reach by text or phone. Each home is supplied with fresh, professionally laundered linens and supplies to make your stay comfortable. Our cleaning crew is local, paid a living wage and are trained so that you can enjoy your vacation in a clean home.
    Confirmed guests will receive a text message to the cell phone on the reservation with a link to the essential information you need to enjoy your stay like the door code and the directions. The digital guide book has information on the property and also on the area including restaurants, grocery stores and popular destinations. Guests can go straight to the property at check-in time.

We loved this little cabin. It has everything you need for a quiet getaway! It is far enough out to be remote and quiet, but close enough to be in the middle on Brevard in just a few minutes!

The cabin was perfect.

The cabin was perfect. The deck is amazing - spacious with ample seating and a wonderful view. We spent most of our cabin time on the deck eating, chatting, having coffee, grilling, enjoying both the view and family time. The fire pit was a great feature as well. Sitting around the fire each night roasting marshmallows was the perfect way to end each day. Inside, the cabin was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well stocked so making meals at the cabin was easy, the beds (particularly the king master bed) was very comfortable, the linens were fresh and clean. Our teenagers like having their own space downstairs with a separate bathroom. The location is very convenient - only a few minutes to get into town and about 15 miles in each direction to get to Pisgah and Dupont. Overall the cabin was exactly what we needed for our getaway and exceeded all of our expectations. We would absolutely stay again and recommend the cabin to our friends. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The check in and check out process was fabulous. Emails were sent to me with clear and precise instructions so there was no need for in person or phone contact. It was a flawless process.

Clean and well maintained cabin. Perfect stay location for hiking DuPont, Pisgah, Panthertown and beyond. Secluded with great view of Pisgah Forest mountains off back porch. Beautiful Mountain Views

We very much enjoyed our stay at this mountain view property. We caught a wonderful week of weather (lows in the mid 60's and highs in the mid 70's). We enjoyed visiting all the parks and forests. The town of Brevard is a short drive away and has all the amenities a vacationer needs. We would recommend this property to others interested in a pleasant experience in Western North Carolina!
