A rejuvenating cabin in the woods
Perched on a slope of evergreens and oaks, this home is a peaceful place to rest while plotting your next hike in the foothills, trip to Amador wine country, or excursion to Kirkwood.
Set on several acres among rolling hills, you'll be spoiled by splendid views off the deck overlooking a sea of trees. The modern and well-equipped home features a fully stocked kitchen with adjacent dining area and expandable table, a generous living room complete with large smart TV and game, and three comfy bedrooms with flexible living spaces. The primary has its own bathroom and a queen bed, the bunk room is a twin over full with pack-and-play if needed, and the final bedroom is set up as an office with a twin daybed that converts to a king.
The home heats and cools quickly, guided by a Nest thermostat, and there's a wood burning stove on particularly cool nights. The deck features a BBQ and patio furniture to take in the view and dine al fresco. The garage can house 1-2 cars and includes an EV charger with ample parking otherwise in the long driveway.
Great for families, we have included accessories for kids and babies.

It is a very cute house in a peaceful, mountain location. We enjoyed our time there, relaxing & host was very nice & responsive to questions that arose.
Everything was great. Was an excellent escape. Very relaxing and beautiful there. Would love to see with some snow. I would definitely stay again. Thank you so much.
Home was clean, comfortable and well laid out. Access was very easy. We stayed there in order to ski at Kirkwood. It was about 45 min from the house to ski resort. Would recommend for families!
We had a great time! Property is very clean, updated and well organized. Communicating with our host was flawless. Very nice neighborhood. The view from the deck is breathtaking. Highly recommend. Thank you!
Our stay was perfect. We had everything we needed and the baby amenities, including toys were a wonderful surprise. We were within a few miles from our family cabin making it very convenient. We decided to come in a night early and the hosts responded very quickly to our requests. The home was immaculate. Thank you Corey & Daphne.
The bed was extremely comfortable! My toddler enjoyed the kids books. The hot water heater works fantastic, nice and hot. We enjoyed our stay and what a beautiful view off the back deck.
