Property did not look like the pictures. Very Out dated and smells like the 70s. They had so many rules stolen towels, remote and other things will be charged on your account. I felt their staff wasn’t friendly either. Don’t know what kind of guest they have stayed there. I didn’t feel safe.

It was such a beautiful structure. It felt like the suite was designed for comfort and beauty. The gardens were fantastic. There could have been easier access to the electrical outlets. We would stay there again.
Interactions with the owner Michael were helpful and pleasant.

The house was very clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained, which we really appreciated during our stay. However, there were two downsides to be aware of. First, after booking, the owner asked us to pay an extra money for cleaning fee, even though it was not clearly listed in the Expedia booking details. I chose not to argue since I didn’t want to ruin our family trip, but future guests should expect additional charges. Second, privacy was an issue the owner lives in the basement, and it felt uncomfortable at times, especially with my child playing and moving around. Overall, it’s a nice property, but keep in mind the extra costs and limited privacy.

The good-We enjoyed & liked free drinks for poker chips.
We Liked smaller hotel.
Bed was very comfortable.
Agent at check-in was friendly & helpful.
Coffee was good in a.m.
Espresso machine in room was nice.
Breakfast was below average- limited choices- fruit was old &a few pieces were moldy.
Our sink didn’t drain well at all- water level rose up as I tried to wash my face. Didn’t shower - evidence of mold in shower.
I wouldn’t stay there again. Was a fair hotel at best.

"I’m surprised by all the excellent reviews, that’s why I booked it. This is an old hotel that needs some updates. It has a terrible smell all thru it. It was clean but needs better maintained. Bathroom is very small, tv didn’t work, room smelled."
