Three of us stayed very comfortably - two of us sharing a room with the twin beds, and the 3rd getting her own big bed. We spent time sitting around the kitchen table as well as hanging out in the living room. We had everything we needed, very easy and cozy. The countryside around is gorgeous, with the leaves changing colors. And the peacocks coming to visit is a bonus! Note that the house is a bit hard to find on the winding country roads, but look for the star in the window! (And Google Maps/Waze are super helpful, just make sure you put the destination into your phone before you get out there where there's no wifi signal.) ##### Caroline G. This property was one of the best we've stayed at. Actual peacocks, but that wasn't the best part. The location is very private and quiet. The house is great for a small group. It was a bit buggy due to heat and rain, but that really didn't even bother us. A few small issues that the hosts addressed immediately. Love it when the host is local. Their attention to detail was so appreciated. Fully stocked kitchen (for real ... not someone saying it's stocked). Wifi was great. My husband was able to work remotely with three laptops plus 4 other connected devices. That's a first. Lots of great food options in Millerton and Pine Plains. If you're even looking at this property? Book it. We'll be back. Final note? Master bed was amazing. We like a firm mattress for our backs. Kids slept great, too,. They enjoyed the couches with the TV. ##### Jill M. We enjoyed spending time inside and outside the house, surrounded by gardens and birds, and hope to visit again soon. ##### Virginia S. Very clean, warm and comforting cottage! Loved all the wonderful details in every room and the peacocks that came to visit while we there. The garden is also like lovely.
