The property was older and in a bit worse shape than expected from the online listing, and when we arrived, the door code did not work. It took approximately 45 minutes to get in touch with the property manager to get into the house. The stay was pleasant - the area is extremely nice and we enjoyed the relatively comfortable house. However, after we left, they charged us with 250 worth of damage that we were not responsible for, which felt extremely unfair to us and soured the entire experience. If I were to stay with this host again, I would be sure to document any damage at the start of my stay so that we would be protected against another experience like this one.
