"Check in is a little confusing. You just need to pull into the garage then you’ll see signs. Restaurants and resort was clean. The pillows were overly firm so we could not use them at all. The beds were not comfortable and both had back pain and restless sleep. Staff was professional and helpful. Swim up bar is cash and card only. Morning coffee shop staff wasn’t exactly the most pleasant. With the summer being so hot, garage parking was appreciated. We spent time in the arcade and Pier park. I would come back but I’ll bring my own pillow. We enjoyed our stay."
Gil's Bayou Cabins

"The cabin is located with easy access to downtown ocean springs and the bridge. It is located with a nice view of the water. There are frequent trains that go through, but they did not bother us at night. It stayed very cool with AC and ceiling fans. Bring a sleep mask of light bothers you because the temperature light on the AC unit lights up the entire cabin. There is no storage to hang clothes or bags so we had to pile everything on the couch which made it feel cluttered. There was no iron or ironing board and we did go out for a nice dinner, so it was not great to be wrinkled. There is a small fridge and basic kitchen supplies. Hot water in the shower, but the pressure was that of a pressure washer so beware. At least there was pressure. One trick I’ll provide. Your gps will want you to turn onto Washington Ave, go over the bridge, turn around, and come back (if you’re leaving the parking lot and want to turn left). Instead, right before you’d get out onto Washington Ave, go right into the parking lot at Gil’s. You’ll see that you can drive under the bridge and pop out the other side. It will save a lot of time! Overall it was a great place to crash, but a little inconvenient to get in and out of and lack of storage was a bit annoying."

"It is a motel, well positioned near but not too close to the interstate, well maintained, clean and comfortable. The hot shower was welcome, and we slept well. The breakfast was a bit on the simple side, but included. So nothing to complain really, and the price was really reasonable."

"Staff was very helpful, Breakfasts was very good . Rooms could be cleaner floors swept and beds in room 204 were very squeaky. First room had bad smell but later figured out heater had been on and gave off a bad odor until turned off ."

"Pool was not usable. They were working on the property so give them a couple of months and it should be good. Location is excellent for hoping around to local attractions with easy access to the interstate. I would book this property again for my purposes."
