Scents can improve wellbeing, and the minute I stepped in the hotel and the hotel room. It doesn’t smell clean and fresh, smells like dirt covered in flowers, using deodorant on top of smelly armpits. Unfortunately that’s how I felt. It’s a nice place, paid extra for a nice view, but other than that, I’m not impressed. The place has a very cool vibe tho. (973 reviews) We had doctor appointments early at UCLA and decided to spend the night at W. The folks were very nice and helpful. The hotel is a bit tired. We had a room that was updated to a junior suite. The snacks and wet bar was good. The bathroom products can not be better. Davines from Italy. The bed was comfy too. The real problem is the air quality... The HVAC system is very tired. There are two zones. I used clorex wipes to clean the intake and outtake vents. I had to use several sheets. And they still need a lot of work. The windows have wooden shutters. They are very dusty too... Overall the W worked out for our trip. But I'm not sure we can stay there. With my wife's asthma and my allergies was quite a challenge...
