Peaceful fishing spot with a comfortable home.
It was our own fishing camp without camping. It was so nice to grill our catch and sit in the twilight listening to the frogs and crickets in. A beautiful time that we will never forget. Owner was super thoughtful, the house was stocked for comfort and the neighborhood was quiet and safe.

We really enjoyed our weekend get away at this property. It’s the perfect size with beautiful scenery for an extremely peaceful and relaxing weekend. Loved seeing the wild rabbits at dusk and hearing the owls at night! Gorgeous view of the bayou also. And the owner is very accessible and easy to work with. Looking forward to a return visit!

Enjoyed our stay. Plenty to do and see. Every morning I walked into the kitchen and saw the beautiful view through the French doors, It just happened to be a record heat summer and the A/C worked great!!!

Wonderful Waterfront Get-Away
The property is even better than what is described in the listing as there's a number of amenities that aren't listed which makes this an even better value. My wife mentioned that her blood pressure dropped 20 points just by being on the site and watching the river. We even saw a couple of bald eagles in one of the trees across the river from us & will visit again.

This quaint little cabin is tucked away at the end of a scenic road on the Belle River. The view from the glass patio doors, covered back patio or floating dock are all amazing! An absolute must for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway in the Sportsman’s Paradise!

Loved this home on the Belle River.
Very clean. Within 5 minutes of unloading our car we saw a gator swimming in the river by our dock. Wherever we went, we saw gators! The kids and adults loved it! It rained 80% of the time, but we were still able to do everything we wanted to do. Thank you Kyle for the use of your home.

BEST OF THE BAYOU
This is our second time to stay at Bayou Belle and it was just as awesome as our first visit. Because the water was a little high, the river traffic was almost nothing. The cabin is in a quite, private location, so we simply relaxed on the back patio and watched the wildlife and the river. We got to see a yellow warbler feed her babies and then watched all three take off on their first flight. We saw beautiful egrets and herons, had an alligator hang out at the end of the dock for a bit. The only noise was the bull frogs croaking 24/7. The weather couldn't have been better and the mosquitos were conspicuously absent. We picked up fresh blue crab on our way in and cooked them on the back patio. They were so good that we drove into Morgan City and picked up more to cook before we left. Crawfish were also plentiful, but we can't get fresh crabs in N Louisiana, so we took advantage. We used the grill to cook some steaks one night. This cabin is not for the Hilton Hotel type, but it has everything you need to enjoy the southern Louisiana Bayou Life if you're into it. We will always return to this cabin when we need a fix. The owner is always easy to communicate with and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place if you want the Bayou scene and some R&R.

This is a terrific getaway. Located right on the Belle River with its own fishing pier (3 fishing poles were supplied). We did day-trips to Donaldsville and Morgan City. Owner was extra helpful guiding us to the property a few miles outside the town.

If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind, authentic Louisiana bayou vacation/fishing spot, you won’t beat the hospitality and good food. This river house was a perfect place to use as a hub for all the sightseeing we wanted to get in.
