The location is peaceful. The facilities of the pool ( indoor and outdoor) are great. When it rained the indoor pool was useful. The level of service and quality of food in the restaurant was great. We brought our dog and they even had a separate quiet restaurant area for those with dogs which we used both evenings. Overall a great stay, we will return. She knew all the restaurants in town and was persistent in getting reservations for us. The room (first floor corner over the street) was modern and beautifully appointed. All of interior wooden shutters did not shut tight, so street light beams intruded onto bed at night. Bathroom modern and good fixtures, but literally no privacy door; just a sliding glass panel facing a window whose shutters had to remain closed because building across the street could see inside through the sheer curtains. Windows are old and single-paned, so street noise was audible all night, especially from Saturday revelers until 4 a.m. from the nearby piazza. Calmer Sunday night. The hotel did provide ear plugs. Nespresso coffee maker in room was good and had enough pods. Included “breakfast” was a 2 person chit for a pastry and coffee at a nearby cafe. Poor compared to breakfasts provided at similarly priced properties. Central location in Urbino was excellent relative to sights. Did not take advantage of spa facilities. I would stay here again if I knew exactly the layout of the room and its location relative to the street before booking."
