"When you visit Khao Sok or Cheow Lan Lake, the thing to do is stay in one of these raft houses. You’ll take a long tail boat from the dam area to the raft house, which depending on the time of year, you may get rained on. Praiwan Raft house is great because it’s a more authentic experience and is more tucked away in the park, right near where many of the wildlife tours are, so there are animals right next to you.
