Enjoying a two-story Villa for the price of a hotel room was a positive experience. And we had some good laughs playing miniature golf behind our room. The pool and tennis courts added to the fun.

Warning: Dont ever make a mistake with your reservations!!! I'm extremely disappointed. I booked a room for 2 nights for a birthday surprise, and accidentally clicked on the wrong dates, so I never checked in on the first day, and I stayed for my originally planned 2 days. Unbeknownst to me, I was charged for all 3 days, even though I didn't check in on Tuesday (because I worked 16 hours that day, and had no idea I clicked the wrong date), until I checked my bank. This is the 3rd time I've stayed there, and it will be my last. I will make sure my fellow business owners do not stay there either. I didn't receive a courtesy call and showed up to check in on Wednesday (my original start date). They weren't that busy on Tuesday, and they should have refunded me because it was a complete mistake on my part, and I still stayed my original next few days. This is disappointing to me. I'm not happy at all with what happened. I was planning on staying again for my son's birthday, but I will now go to another resort and spend my money, where staff is actually considerate of the situation, and I'm not just told by management that they couldn't sell the room... especially when there were plenty of rooms available. This could easily have been taken care of and made right, especially since I never stayed or checked in on Tuesday. But since this was handled so poorly, you have lost more than one customer because of it

As you stated, the error was not on the Resort’s part and you booked through one of our online partners, limiting what we can do. We have no control over the booking of reservations, and it is not feasible for any hotel to provide a courtesy call when a guest does not show for their reservation. When you booked the reservation, you also received a confirmation through the channel with the details of the booking. You had a chance to correct the error at that time. In addition, when you checked in at the resort you signed a registration card with the details from the booking with your arrival and departure dates. Our team did try to reach out to you multiple times on the day your reservation was due to check-out but were unable to reach you. We matched the deeply discounted rate you received through the online partner for the third day of the stay. Unfortunately, there is nothing else we can do to assist you with your booking error. Beautiful property, excellent location, close to shopping and dining. The property definitely is set up for families. If you’re looking for a more sophisticated adult atmosphere this is not the place to stay.

Very unique location close to Cholla Camelback trail head. Amenities are great. The room has everything you need. Kitchen, diswasher, washer and dryer. Beds are comfy. Will def make it my 1st choice when visiting my son at GCU.

Overall, a perfect place to stay if you don’t want to leave the resort. Excellent for families. Suites are roomy and the kitchen is well stocked. Grounds are well maintained and lots of activities through the day. ~1.5 miles to Scottsdale fashion mall and Old Town. Would definitely stay here again.

Bugs are all over the room. Spent $68 on lunch and had a hard time eating on my lap on my pool chair so I went to a table for 10 minutes and management collected everything on my pool chair and I lost my chair. She said you are not allowed to leave your pool chair. I wanted to go take a swim and this was not allowed either as they took my stuff. She said these are the rules. You cannot leave your chair. Bugs were crawling on my bed and we saw cockroach next to window where you order food. Our stay was 5 days and we did not have housekeeping for 4 days. No garbage emptied as a result bugs everywhere. Flies fly all over your body at the pool. Resort is from the 1950s and never updated.

As a rental guest, we provide a daily refresh housekeeeping service and enter the villa unless you placed a Do Not Disturb sign on the door. The property is very dated. Our room was unacceptable. The room smelled like it was sealed since 1980, dated and worn cabinetry. Filthy bathtub and shower. We requested a refund and Tara at the desk was horrible to deal with. She was rude and hard to deal with. The grounds look nice and are kept up okay. Will not return.

The grounds are nice, the rooms need to be updated, they are dark and the beds are pretty uncomfortable with depression areas in the mid bed. I had a backache after the first night, after the second night my back was quite sore. I told the front desk and they did nothing.

The view from the upstairs was amazing. Having all the comforts of home and the mid-century resort feel was the perfect escape. You’re very close to city, but yet a world away.

Great location walk to Old Town (.75 mile) walk to Phoenician (.25 mile), nice hot tub, heated pool on site bar. Cleaning of room was a roll of the dice as english communication was very limited. Room was large with 2nd bedroom upstairs, kitchen, and 1 bathroom. Front desk was very accommodating, and was massage and spa staff. Restaurants to try Morley and Cotton, Olive and Ivy and Tommy Vs Goid trip over all.

Rooms have large jetted tubs, which is why I chose this location. Rooms do not have enough hot water to fill said bath. When I asked front desk their response was “just wait a little bit.” I waited an hour and then gave up. Couldn’t even take a shower. Wound up having to book another hotel to be able to shower. You can feel this property’s frugality in its aged decor and rooms. Perhaps a little too frugal for guests

The room was very spacious, comfortable, and nicely furnished. The only negative is that the room had a bit of a musty smell. However, you quickly became used to it and overall the experience was very nice.
