It was overall a very good experience, although we only stayed one night. The property was clean and neat throughout. The man who checked us in was very cordial and helpful. The room was clean, roomy and quiet.
There was only one hiccup; I registered 3 people to stay in our room with two queen beds. When we came to the breakfast area on April 25th, we checked in at the breakfast ordering station, where the lady on duty told me that our room showed only 2 people on the reservation, so we would be charged for one breakfast since there were 3 of us. I said that was incorrect, and the lady sent me to the front desk. The gentleman at the front desk also told me that only 2 people were registered for the room. He further noted that since I booked the reservation through Expedia, that it only transferred to their res. system as 2 people.
so I would indeed need to pay for one of the breakfasts.
The reservation that I booked clearly noted 3 people, and we fully expected a made-to-order breakfast for three of us on the 25th. It had nothing to do with the money, but the reservation that I booked clearly was for three people and reservation noted that breakfast was included.
It was very irritating, embarrassing (like I was trying to get something for free, and was being a problem guest as I spoke up about their error) and there was no cordiality from either the “breakfast lady” who was “only doing my job” speech, nor the front desk (MOD) on the morning of Apr. 25 @ 9:00am.
