One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for its location and view of the riverfront. We asked for a higher floor room and sure enough we got a room in the 9th (highest possible) floor. The room looked like it wasn't occupied for months. The floor was extremely dirty with dust and the bed had ants crawling on it. The toilet had urine stains. Still, no biggie -- we told the cleaning lady to please clean our room again and left for a few hours. After we came back the room was still the same. So we requested another room and moved across the hall. Slightly better (at least the bathroom was cleaner), but the floor was still extremely dirty, so we would use our flip flops in it throughout the stay. There was no hot water for the entire duration of our stay (2 nights), even though the staff told us it'll be fixed. The breakfast was supposedly included in our stay, but I can't comment on it, because we never experienced it. Upon check in we were told that breakfast is served at the rooftop bar/restaurant, but when we went there before 9am there was no one there. When we enquired at the reception they told us that perhaps it was too late and the staff left (?). During the second night I had to do battle with the staff about the incredibly loud (and screeching) noise coming from the rooftop bar karaoke. I guess with the positives. Very nice hotel recently renevated room and rebrand of hotel. Negatives nothing to much from me apart from being woken daily by the cleaning staff even though the do not disturb sign being shown. Take care late at night as there are many bad people in the area and it's poorly lit. Don't book a suite because they don't have Booked a city view suite on Orbitz online. Pictures looked nice and had king size bed and 300+ sq. ft. When arrived had to wait about 30 minutes for them to make up the bed. They said they were waiting for the laundry to bring. After we go the key we went up to room and instead of a 30 sq. meter suite we had a regular double room with queen bed. I went back down stairs and asked them and was told had to wait and talk to Manager. Language problem too. The Manager showed up and informed me they do not even have suites. I requested a refund of the price difference but was told could not do that. I would have to cancel online then rebook the room there for lesser price. I called Orbitz and requested to cancel my payment and they told me they would send me a $25 refund voucher by email, so I keep the room. Anyway be careful this place. Bad service, poor management and magic tricks with your money. My first room I stayed in for five minutes and asked to be moved to another room , i paid for a city view and I got a tiny little window barely seeing anything and I had big beam in the middle of my room . So they moved me to another room . This room was a lot better , nice big window with a beautiful view and a nice normal no beam room.This rooms Ac really sucked , so I had to put a deposit on another key so the Ac is always on. The bathroom door was awkward and the wifi didn't seem to work well. They have a beautiful rooftop bar with a gorgeous view of the city and the river , I loved it up there . Overall it's a nice hotel with good service and a great rooftop but they have a lot to improve on.
