The construction noise in February started pretty early and went on til after dark. There's new hotels and high rises going up all over Phnom Penh though. The rooms are lovely and well appointed. The staff is friendly, courteous, and helpful. The breakfast choices are good. The pool is nice and the landscaping is very nice and well maintained. The hotel is located at the corner of 308 Street and a short walk to the restaurants and bars in this upcoming “happening” area of Phnom Penh during the evening. Although the hotel is only a block or two from some busy streets, it is very quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed just walking around the narrow alleyways and streets in the area. Very safe and quiet and just about within walking distance of the main touristic places. The staff were really helpful. The only thing I could fault them on was the local cockerel who woke me up around 5:15 each morning. I’m vegan and I obviously love animals - please don’t ask for it to be slaughtered, but relocating it to another street will ensure light sleepers aren’t disturbed! Overall I give this place a big thumbs up.
