Be careful booking this hotel. If you book a standard double room you may well be put in a small room with a single(small) bed. With no windows. I understand that the room you book is not the exact same as the photos. But no where on the description of the hotel on hotel.com does it say that it is such a small room and no windows. The staff on duty did not speak English and where unable to help with any queries. I had spoken to hotel.com customer services and are unable to contact hotel for some time. When they did they where unable to communicate with the reception staff and nothing was resolved. It was $35 a night which can get you alot better in Phnom penh. The description should tell you that it is a very small room and no window. But the photos and description are misleading as is the price. I have stayed in much better accommodation in central Phnom Penh for a lot less. Maybe I was just unlucky but I would not recommend this hotel.

Great service, great food
The staff are very very accomodating. Some of the best hotel service ive had in Asia so far. They go above and beyond to make you comfortable and even surprised me by bringing me up a yummy fruit platter! Mmmmm. Also, their breakfast is amazing.

Friendly staff but can’t say much about the room. It was tiny, sink in bathroom was leaking, no blackout curtains, asked for an extra hour for checkout but was rushed out. Breakfast is not buffet, choose one item from the menu. Would stay again if it was half the price.

Great location.Quiet to outside noise but thin walls meant disturbance from other rooms especially when people came and went from their rooms due to the locking system on the doors.Take earplugs if you want a good nights sleep.

Very friendly staff with a welcome drink and towel also cut up fruit for the bedroom. Security guard outside. Clean rooms and clean bed sheets. Highly recommend.

Spend a few extra bucks per night for the breakfast, especially if there are two of you. Breakfast prices are $6 or less, so you’ll save. You’ll save more because they’re big breakfasts, so you can skip lunch!

The location was great. Near lots of bars, plenty of places to eat, multiple 24 hour Minimarts, waterfront. I only ever took a tuk tuk to and from the hotel and airport. Rest is walkable. Wifi was pretty solid, the staff is fantastic, very nice people. Also the value for money was solid, I originally tried Airbnb and didn’t have much luck, so I was quite pleased with the cost of the the hotel. Now the problems... My first room, AC worked fine for the first day. Then after that only really blew Air, not cold air, I let it slide cuz it wasn’t too bad. Then one day that stopped working. Spoke to staff. They got it running again, except still not really cold air. the bathroom also wasn’t greaT, def needed lots Of repair. The worst, I’m pretty sure I had bed bugs. I say pretty sure because I have no experience in all my travels with them. I had some bites that I equated to mosquitoes being out late at night near water. But then I kept getting more and more to the point it couldn’t be ignored. I noticed spots on my sheet that websites seemed to indicate as a sign of bed bugs. To be fair, I looked and didn’t SEE anything else, but they’re hard to find I guess. Either I had a serious allergic reaction and hives to something, which has never happened before, or I got bed bugs cuz I’ve got the itchy marks to prove it. I probably figured it out 2 days too late, that’s on me. Staff was helpful switching me rooms, I just hope they take care of it.

This hotel is under new management as of about 8 months ago. The rooms are very clean, the A/C works perfectly. The staff is the best - they are friendly, helpful and efficient.. .and they take care to protect the customers. Rooms come equipped with safety deposit boxes. The hotel has a kitchen and the food is good, as well. The only things I can suggest for improvement would be: (a) if you could provide each room with a little toothbrush/toothpaste combo (like you find in hotels throughout Asia), and bar soap, that would be great (I like bar soap in addition to "bath gel"). (b) the coffee could be better. It wasn't bad, but it was just so-so. Thanks for a pleasant stay, I will be back again.

Nice place to stay
Good Hotel in the centre of the city as the name suggests Check in was good and fast and allowed us to check in early with a welcoming drink room was better than expected and good staff and just so friendly with a smile every time you enter the Hotel. the Breakfast not buffet but more like a brecky you would get at an up market hotel eg Eggs Benedict etc (included) yeah was good tV had sky channels plenty hotwater and aircon good and quiet Plenty of tuk tuks out front to take you any where you want plenty of food around with many Bars in the area and Mini marts if you need them so yes pleased with stay and the area and Oh yeah walking distance to water front 5 min

Good location
Hotel well situated, staff very friendly and efficient, free brekkie was good, bar in hotel well priced, room as comfortable ,good a/c ,tea & coffee. Only downside was no external window only corridor facing 1. Local area safe with plenty of bars & restaurants local. Night market 5 mins walk, large mall & central market 10-15 mins walk

The biggest dump I ever stayed in.
Arrived at 7 pm, reception was friendly. Got a room max. 9 m2, we only had trolleys but no space to put on the floor and open , the aircon. did not work and the safe was removed. Complained, got another room (same size), air. ok safe exist but not open. had to wait for security who was out for dinner to try to open the safe. He came after 45 min. could not open the safe, they said the master key in in the manager office and she is already home and will not come to the hotel. Again complained strongly then got another room aprox. 12m2 but air and safe worked. Next morning we met the manager, she did not apologize and was very unfriendly The Hotel is totally run down, dirty and filthy. The worse experience on our trip.

Be careful with the location.
We stayed at the City Centre hotel for 3 nights. The first thing to point out is the location as it's in amongst lot of what they call "hostess" bars with young women hanging out of bars with blacked out windows, lots of men walking round on their own! You get the drift! The hotel itself was ok, the service was ok they got the booking wrong at first but fixed it quickly and helped us sort a tuk tuk to the killing fields and the prison.

An okay budget hotel near the riverside
For its price (comparatively across phnom penh), we went in without too much expectations. The great location was the primary reason we chose this hotel over others. We find the hotel pleasant, though the room is on the small side. Cleanliness is okay but can be improved on. Service staff was helpful with our requests. Some basic facilities like bath slippers and hair dryer were not provided and has to be requested. Tuk tuk touts could be annoying as they loiter around the hotel entrance. Overall, it is a decent hotel if you going on a budget and still want a hotel close to the riverside.

Immediately staff were very welcoming and even took me out that night to a good restaurant for dinner. Recommended a fantastic Tuk Tuk driver for the day. Hotel meals provided a good choice at a reasonable price.

Quite a good hotel with good selection of breakfast (if it's free for you when booking the room). WiFi working well, rooms is a bit old. Important is clean. Walking distance like around 10 minutes to spots of interest such as Central Market, Cambodia Museum, Royal Palace, River side, Wat Phnom etc. Walking distance bout 3-5 minutes to Night Life Spot, Night Market and many eateries nearby. Is quiet enough at night. The hotel currently undergo renovation on 3th floor until further notice. It can be quite noisy in the morning around 9am onward, drilling etc... You may get earplug from hotel reception but usually tat time we are out to explore so not much a disruption to us.

Nice budget hotel near a lot of nightlife
The hotel is within walking distance to multiple pubs and the beautiful river promenade. The rooms are spacious, but is beginning to show signs of old age. My room did not have windows, but for the price, I did not mind.

Close to shopping, the river and bars.
Hotel was OK for a 3 day stay. There always was a driver out side 24 hours a day if you do not like to walk in the heat. The beer in the lobby bar was ice cold every time I had one. The Royal Palace, National Museum, Central Market and 2 big Wat's are within walking distance along with some markets and about 50 bars. Only a 3 block walk to the River (8 minuets). The WI/FI in the room was just OK not fast but it worked. The AC keep the room nice and cool. Hot water in the shower was super hot. I never had the free breakfast but it was offered to me each morning. Hotel was easy to find, staff very nice. If I ever went back to Cambodia I would consider staying at this hotel.

Comfortable, clean and friendly
The location is easy to get to the riverfront. Whilst the hotel is a bit dated, it is very clean and the hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. They do look after their guests and help to ensure you see the things you want in Phnom Penh. Having a limited amount of time there, they arranged a driver for me at a decent price to take me out and about for 5hours. Would stay there again for sure.

A nice hotel
The staff in this hotel are terrific, friendly and always there to assist or advise you. This hotel is foreigner run, nice man, he has made sure everything works well. The wifi was good in all locations. The restaurant food was good and the draft beer was reasonably priced. In the location of the bar and restaurant area. Good for single males in particular. Not a new hotel but for the price I paid I would definitely stay again. Thank you to all staff including the Manager who bought me a free draft beer.

Room renovation including complete room repaint and furniture . refurbishment. New Carpet throughout. Significant WIFI upgrade with commercial quality equipment, most recently 2 WIFI boosters on 2nd & 3rd Floors. 6pm-6am we get 30mips download Expanded kitchen, upgraded restaurant with new outside deck. And a completely new... 2 bedroom suite with 4 large beds, one Kingsize, 2 queensize Staff have also been further trained and rewarded for that. Great location! Bed is good. Shower is good. Housekeeping is good and almost invisible. Great lobby with a good value restaurant. Owner manager is very approachable. Good security policy with over night guests friendly staff. Local info offered for everything you might need.

Water leaking near the lift. The pillow not comfortable to my head during sleep. Staff not really friendly or helpful. No hair dryer in room. Keep give reason someone take it or finish. Not recommend to stay if you want better service. This hotel only good for location. I can't think any other good point of this hotel.

Thank you for your feedback. The building owner has been told about the leak during heavy rain. I have personally gone and brought more hairdryers so that there should be no reason that future guests will be without. We get many compliments on the friendliness and helpfulness of staff so I am surprised at your comment. I live in teh hotel and willing to meet guests at anytime to resolve problems.

Good price, good location.
Stayed here for 2 nights. I was told the hotel is full so my original booking was changed. The room had no windows but then the hotel is situated in the middle of a complex so then it made sense that some rooms won't have windows. I don't remember reading the description to see if there weren't any windows in the rooms. It was just a surprise. The breakfast was good. The hotel is just a few blocks and you will be at sisowath quay where good restaurants are. Also, the hotel is close to tourist attractions that can walk to or tuk tuk. Staff are friendly and helpful. Over all good stay.

Excellent value for money
The I got was basic, clean, functional, well maintained room and everything I need worked like WiFi and fridge. There was no city view, in-room safe like in the room description. These did't really bother me. The room seems to have been recently renovated and it shows. Freshly painted and a modern bathroom. Location wise, it's only 5 minutes walk to the waterfront. Bars, eateries and shops are everywhere. For the price paid, I was particularly pleased with the breakfast. With about 10 options undeserved to restaurant stranded, it's outstanding. Would stay again.

Got switched to another hotel
We arrived late in the evening and the receptionist told us that our room had some problems, and offered us a room in another hotel nearby. We took This room which according to the photos had a better standard. Had a great stay There :)

Hotels.com give incorrect information
Great location. No in room safe as stated on hotels.com website. Air con did not work. Moved rooms and it did not work there either.

Second time here
This was my second stay here. I booked a standard room but they didn't have one available so upgraded me to a deluxe room for all three nights. The room was a little bigger with a nicer bathroom than the standard room which I had stayed in during my previous stay. It didn't have an external window but apart from sleeping I didn't spend much time in the room so it didn't concern me.

My room was small but bed was very comfortable. WiFi was ok at best and free breakfast was basic but no complaints. Walking distance to markets and Riverside.

Disappointing hotel salvaged only by location
The hotel is a bit run down and the desk help disinterested. Concierge of sorts anxious to push assorted tours and recommended his friend as tuk-tuk driver. He proved unreliable and dishonest resulting in an unpleasant experience.
Thank you for your feedback. A renovation program is underway. We have upgraded the restaurant and kitchen and added a 2 bedroom suite. Staff attitude has been addressed by replacing staff that did not meet our (and your)standards

Okay price for what you get but the standard has deteriorated. Some rooms have broken furniture, electrical outlets that doesn't work, missing or broken light bulbs, bathroom fans not working, AC units leaking water, making the wall paint bubbly and rooms smelly. It's like nobody cares about regular maintenance. Get the deluxe rooms for a better experience. Cleanliness and location is great! Wi-Fi included. Nice staff!
