On se sent vraiment en immersion dans la nature dans cette magnifique propriété très spacieuse pour la Guadeloupe. La maison est bien équipée et très bien aménagée avec plusieurs accommodements bien pensé pour se divertir: livres, bande-dessinée, jeux de société, équipement pour la plage, etc. Isabelle est très gentille et disponible pour aider au besoin. Dès la tombée de la nuit, le chant des grenouilles et des grillons nous accompagnent pour préparer le souper dans une cuisine ouverte. Petit-Bourg est bien situé pour toutes les visites incontournables de la Guadeloupe, également proche des supermarchés ce qui est très pratique d'ailleurs. La maison est très propre, moderne, sécurisée au moyen d'une alarme, munie d'un safe, la cuisine bien agencée et les lits très confortables. La climatisation dans les chambres nous ont permis de bien dormir. We spent a week at Kaz Tibou in mid-February 2017, and as found the villa to be even better than it seemed on this site. The other glowing reviews are accurate - it is very well appointed, stylish, close to amenities, hikes and sightseeing in the Guadeloupe National Park (go north on the N1, then west on D23), and the beaches aren't that far of a drive away (we enjoyed the two main ones at Deshaies the most). The villa has pretty much all the creature comforts you might want - a very well set-up modern kitchen, two air conditioned bedrooms, a walk-out terrace that holds the dinner table, lounge chairs, jacuzzi and shower, and leads out to a gorgeous tropical yard. The living room is very nice, with couch, TV, stereo (though the weather was excellent, so we didn't use it much). The location, in the low hills on the outskirts of Petit Bourg, is pretty central, and most of Basse-Terre and a fair amount of Grande-Terre are reasonably close. Isabelle and Sylvain are excellent hosts - very welcoming, full of information, available to answer questions, and with ideas about things to do. We arrived late afternoon on a Sunday, and they helped us out with a very nice dinner and dessert. They have a small binder with a lot of information about the villa and the island, and this was really well done. It helps a lot if you can read and speak French, but Isabelle and Sylvain are very welcoming (the binder is in French and English), and there is a general friendliness and openness on the island. We saw people who spoke very little French managing their way around just fine, and they treated in a welcoming manner at a number of spots on the island. Logement fidèle à l'annonce, propre, calme tout confort et très bien équipé. Terrasse avec vue foret tropicale dépaysante. Jacuzzi pour repos en regardant les étoiles à la nuit. Hôtes très gentils, à vos petits soins (agréable surprise que d'arriver avec le repas prèt dans le frigo). Service traiteur fort sympa quand enfant pour repas digne d'un resto à la maison. A l’arrivée, les propriétaires offrent une corbeille d'accueil et passe un petit coup de fil pour savoir si tout va bien. Ces petites attentions rendent encore le séjour plus agréable. Équipements cuisine ultra complets et modernes, HIFI, TV + DVDS, CDS, Books, Jeux, Internet, Téléphone et modernes, jolies décorations et sans oublier Jacuzzi à bonne température rien ne manque dans la villa KTP qui se trouve dans une résidence très calme. Nous n'avions jamais eu une location comme celle-ci auparavant. Le dossier de location et les consignes sont les plus complètes que nous n'ayons jamais trouvés. Nous n'hésitons pas à recommander cette location parce que les prestations sont largement à la hauteur. Excellent séjour dans une très belle maison meublée et décorée avec goût. Tous les équipements de la maison sont de très haute qualité, tout a été pensé pour satisfaire le client . La terrasse est très agréable, le spa très appréciable et le jardin très bien entretenu.... L'emplacement sur Basse-Terre est idéal pour rayonner sur toute la Guadeloupe , on est toute de suite sur Grande-Terre et en même temps à côté de la route de la Traversée. Finalement tout est à proximité la Soufrière, les chutes du Carbet, la réserve Cousteau, les plages de Deshaies et Port Louis , les plantations les innombrables randonnées à faire dont "les mamelles de petit bourg" , Pointe à Pitre et le Mémorial Act .... Nous remercions les propriétaires Isabelle et Sylvain pour leur accueil, leurs conseils et leur gentillesse, ( et pour le délicieux flan coco... ). La villa est très bien située pour visiter tout l archipel, et très confortable pour vous délasser après une journée à la plage ou de randonné. The hosts welcomed us on our arrival with delicious food and made us feel very welcome. The villa was spacious, beautifully furnished and clean and we would highly recommend it to future clients. L' espace est aménagé avec goût, l'équipement complet est de qualité dans toutes les pièces. Bonnes nuits assurées grâce à une très bonne literie dans les deux chambres grand confort: clim, ventilateur, moustiquaires aux vitres et volets électriques pour une obscurité totale, que nous avons bien appréciée et qui fait souvent défaut dans les locations. Le jardin et le jacuzzi sont également très bien entretenus et l'espace terrasse ensoleillé, bien agréable dès le matin, tout cela sans vis à vis. Un grand merci à Isabelle et Sylvain pour leur accueil sympathique et attentionné (arrivés le 31 décembre en soirée, une quiche, flan coco et de quoi préparer notre premier petit déjeuner nous attendait). La situation centrale de Petit Bourg est parfaite pour parcourir la Guadeloupe et rejoindre facilement les plus beaux sites puisque les axes routiers sont à proximité. L'endroit est calme, rythmé par le chant des grenouilles et insectes locaux, indispensable au dépaysement , vous rappelant que vous êtes bien en bordure de foret tropicale.
