Petit bourg et leurs habitants vous font un super accueil

Les pièces de l’appartement sont grandes et très bien aérées, avec suffisamment de rangements. La large terrasse couverte, avec cuisine, table et transats, un lieu de vie très agréable. De là, la vue est magnifique, d’abord sur le jardin verdoyant descendant en pente douce, et plus loin sur la rade de Pointe à Pitre: tous les matins, ou presque, on peut y admirer les manœuvres d’un paquebot de croisière faisant son entrée dans le port, à 7 heures pile. Le jardin, lui, est un magnifique gazon tropical toujours tondu à ras, sur lequel il est très agréable de marcher pieds nus. Plusieurs gros arbres sont plantés ça et là, d’essences diverses, ainsi que de nombreux arbustes à fleurs que l’on ne peut s’empêcher de photographier. Il n’y a pas de barrière avec les maisons en contre-bas, et les chats des voisins n’hésitent pas à nous faire quelques visites. Des poules sauvages et leurs nombreux poussins se laissent moins approcher, mais leurs allées et venues incessantes sont toujours un spectacle pour les enfants. Et surtout, les petits oiseaux sont omniprésents, et à proximité immédiate: la ronde des colibris est permanente autour de certaines fleurs, et aux moineaux tropicaux n’échappe aucune miette issue de nos petits déjeuners. La maison elle-même (les propriétaires logent au premier étage) est très bien située, sur les hauteurs du quartier de Carrère. On y vit toutes portes et fenêtres ouvertes, de sorte qu’il y a toujours un agréable courant d’air: la chaleur n’est jamais perceptible, même si les journaux annoncent 28 ou 30 degrés. De ce fait, les moustiques sont quasiment absents et en aucun cas un souci récurrent. La voiture, garée devant la porte, est toujours sous l’ombre d’un arbre. Le quartier est calme, et la rue adjacente n’a pas une grande circulation. Cette petite route descend sur la N1 qui relie Pointe à Pitre à Basse Terre. Les commerces sont à proximité (en voiture): fruits et légumes à la jonction, supermarchés à deux ou trois km. Et contrairement à ce qu’on peut lire parfois, la sécurité, pour nous, n’a jamais été un souci, ni dans les villes, ni dans les campagnes, et encore moins dans la propriété. Quant aux propriétaires, ils sont charmants et très serviables. Si par hasard vous évoquez un désir particulier, soyez sûr que, sans rien dire, ils se mettront à la recherche d’une solution ou de l’objet recherché. Bref, vous pouvez vous y rendre sans crainte!

Schöne Unterkunft auf dem Land

Schöner Garten & schöne Wohnung mit Blick übers Meer nach Le Gosier. Besonders die Terrasse war ideal zum relaxen. Die Vermieter waren bei Bedarf jederzeit erreichbar, blieben ansonsten aber im Hintergrund. Vielen Dank an Familie Devaed, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour, malgré la pluie . La propriété est vraiment jolie et agréable, trés calme. Le jardin est magnifique.Daniel est très cool ,très sympathique, très accueillant, ( ses ti'punchs sont délicieux). La Maison est parfaite pour une petite famille, confortable , propre.Nous y retournerons sans hésitation. Nous avons adoré l ambiance de Nwël dans les environs . Vraiment génial!!!! Amazing Hosts!

We had an amazing stay at Daniel and Franzy's place. They were very gracious and even provided me with flowers and a card for my birthday! They go above and beyond to make their guests feel comfortable and have every thing possible available. I highly recommend for anyone to stay and enjoy the amazing views, well kept and clean rentals and an amazing experience. We will be sure to return should we ever go back to visit Guadelouoe!

A Wonderful Stay

We had a lovely time in Guadeloupe, thanks in large measure to Daniel and Frantzy. They were wonderful hosts who collected us from the airport, provided a welcome package of fruits and drinks, and were great at pointing us in the right direction for navigating our way around the island. Truly warm and generous hosts. The apartment itself is well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed our meals on the porch out back overlooking the glittering lights of Petit Bourg at night or the ocean by day. Oh, and also Daniel was very forebearing regarding my inadequate French! All in all we had a wonderful week hiking and beach-going on the island.

Nous rentrons de Guadeloupe apres un sejour vraiment sympa dans la maison de Frantzy et Daniel qui sont de tres gentils hotes. Nous nous sommes sentis chez nous tout de suite. La maison est en hauteur ce qui fait que la chaleur ne devient jamais oppressante et il y a toujours de l'air. Tres bien equipee et tres propre. Allez-y! Vous ne serez pas decu!
