"All staff we met were friendly and helpful, including spa staff. Room clean and spacious, not modern but traditional as would expect in older part of building. Shower hot, bathroom huge! Mattress not the best though. Think room would be cold in Winter due to period windows, single glazed and not air tight. Breakfast also traditional, nice to have tea and coffee served at table, fresh bread , hot food good, cereals limited and basic."

"Nice big room, very comfortable bed. We made use of the pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The pool was busy between 3-4pm with children's lessons. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"Good free car park with plenty of space. Decent size single room, bed comfortable. Hotel is a bit shabby and needs updating. General lack of maintenance, in my bathroom the toilet roll holder was broken. Breakfast just about OK, cooked food very greasy and looked as if it had been there some time."

The only issues we had were in the room, where the net curtains were ripped, the bath panel was hanging loose and the enamel around the bath plug was chipped. But despite the negatives, overall I was happy with my experience at the Bull."

"An excellent hotel. This historic hotel on the A1 near Peterborough is a little gem. Privately owned it has every amenity that you could ask for. The breakfast and dinner are of a very high standard. The team are all friendy and professional. Will definitely be going back."
