I booked this camp for a solo getaway. It’s a perfect spot with a wonderful screened in area seperate from the camp. You get the feel of being in the middle of the woods without actually being in the middle of nowhere. Great creek on the side of the camp. About 30 mins from Laurel & Harrisburg.

My husband and I had a weekend stay at this cozy 1 bedroom cabin. The river flows right by the “clubhouse” which has a nice deck beside it and we enjoyed watching the rapid flowing waters.The layout of the cabin was adorable and the bed super comfy. We enjoyed using the kitchen and had a pleasant stay.The location was our only problem. We didn’t realize it would be 30 minutes from Hattiesburg and the dirt road the cabin is on was full of holes and very muddy. Our tires spun once and we thought we might get stuck. I feel a four wheel drive vehicle would do better than our Buick Envision did at this location.Our host was very understanding of our concerns about the road and came out to assess the problem. They offered to help if any assistance was needed, but in the end we did fine.I would stay again, but wish had had known more about the location before I booked.
