Weekend Getaway
Mother’s Day weekend stay for a family of 3 + 2 dogs. We were very pleased with the location, the cabin and the owners. The cabin is exactly as described in listing. Small, cozy and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Very thoughtful execution at every nook and cranny by the owners. This location is beautiful and serene with lots of exploring to do. We enjoyed the river directly on property, swimming pond and park within walking distance up the street, quick drive to Leavenworth and much more. Would stay here again and definitely recommend to friends. Thank you!!

Great Mountain Getaway for Humans and Pups!
We loved our stay at this cozy cabin! The location is perfect - notched into the mountains with a river just below. And the hosts were amazing, too. We were welcomed upon arrival and they were easy to reach and quick to respond to any questions we had. The treats for humans and pups, along with a personal note, were a really nice touch. The cabin had everything we needed for our quiet stay, including comfy furniture and beds, TVs and fast Internet, plenty of books and movies, cupboards and drawers filled with dishes, cups, silverware, pots and pans ... we even found coffee and pancake mix! And it was so fun to see bowls set out for our dogs - totally unexpected. All to say, we loved our time there and can't wait for our next stay. We have so much more to explore!

Weekend in the Mountains
I booked Sherry’s cabin for a weekend getaway with my husband, and it could have been more beautiful! We were created by the sparkling juice and a welcome note. Sherry and her son were beyond friendly as helpful. Check in and check out were smooth and simple. Cabin was pristine. We could not have asked for a more perfect stay!

Great riverfront cabin
This is a wonderfully cozy cabin, perfect for the two of us. We met the gracious owner and her son on arrival, and they showed us the easy trail to the riverfront, where there are two chairs for relaxing. Inside we were greeted by a personal note and a bottle of sparkling cider, which was a nice touch that made us feel very welcome. The cabin was very clean and well appointed. There was nothing that we needed that was not supplied. The deck overlooking the river was my favorite spot for just relaxing. To sum up, wonderful hosts and a great cabin.

Best pet friendly stay
This cute cabin was a perfect cozy stay for my husband and I and our Alaskan Malamute. Our dog Kai loved the treats, dog gate to keep him on the deck and the little trail leading down to the water. We enjoyed sitting on the deck with the sound of the water below. It was the most relaxing stay, we will definitely be back!

Quiet location for our Leaveworth stay!
The property was just as described and the owners were so kind and welcoming. They gave us many recommendations and left us treats when we arrived. I loved how dog welcoming the property was, my two pups really enjoyed their stay! We would definitely stay here again!

Wolf Den getaway
The coziness of the wolf den was just what we needed after days exploring out in Leavenworth or snowshoeing on nearby hiking trails. Waking up to the view and sounds of the river was breathtaking!

Darling Cabin on a Beautiful Property
We really enjoyed our short stay in this cozy and comfortable cabin. It's small but the owners have added a lot of nice touches to make it very comfortable. Loved the wood burning stove and the beds are extremely comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. The view of the river is unbeatable. Just a short drive to Leavenworth and away from the crowds of the town. We're looking forward to a return trip.

Snow weekend
Had a great time in Peshastin at this cabin! It’s difficult think of a more beautiful place in the winter. Whether we were visiting downtown Leavenworth, taking the short snow shoe journey to the river, or just building and sitting by the fire inside, Sherry and John went above and beyond with accommodations. My wife, the puppy, and I enjoyed our time here and left very relaxed. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a scenic place to enjoy a weekend!

Beautiful area and the best hosts! Available and happy to help answer any questions you might have. They go above and beyond in their hosting. Example: shared great snowshoeing trail nearby and shoveled path through snowplow bank for my young son to easily pass through. Who does that? Thank you!

Lovely, cozy cabin
We loved our stay at this cabin! It was even better than we had anticipated. It was cozy, clean, conveniently located, and prepped with every type of kitchen dish and nighttime game we could have hoped for. Wonderful place to stay near Leavenworth. The cabin is cozy, the hosts are friendly, and the property has so much potential for adventures. The only negative for me is that quarters are a little cramped in the cabin, but the listing is up front about that.

Great Little Getaway
Came for the thanksgiving long weekend with husband and cat in tow. The cabin was exactly what we had been hoping for and needed. It was well equipped, the location was very quiet and close proximity to a great cafe and towns to explore without driving too far. The wood burning fireplace kept the cabin toasty day and night. Our cat loved exploring the cabin and watching the turkeys in the tree. Sherry and John were so lovely in every interaction we had with them. Would absolutely recommend.

Our Favorite Stop
We have been staying in one or another of Sheri's cabins for many years now. We go back every year in October for the Wenatchee Kennel Club dog shows. As long as we continue to return to the area we will always stay at Sheri's Alpine Chalet.

Great location right on the creek!
This cozy cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway! The loft bedroom was fun and our dogs loved going down to the creek. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the hosts were lovely, even providing some delicious wine and biscuits for the doggos. Recommended!

Cozy cabin
Sherry and John are the best hosts, So friendly and helpful, making sure we had a great stay. The Wolf cabin is a little cozy spot in the middle of a beautiful area of Peshastin. It has all you need for a sweet escape. Love the view of the river and the cozy feel. Although small, it’s full of all the necessary items and comforts of home. Thanks for a great stay!

Welcoming place to stay, really appreciated the simple hospitalities and comfortable atmosphere. We had a big hike planned and wanted a place nearby to stay so that we did not need to drive far before or after. Lucky we found such a cute place nearby. The hosts were wonderful and helpful. The accomodations are simple and comfortable (appreciated the variety of pillow softness), bedding was clean and comfortable, and the wi-fi worked well.

Loved the creek!

Great Getaway
What a wonderful cabin getaway. My daughter and I had a great time indoors and out! The kitchen was well stocked and the linens were of great quality. It was so clean, too. No bugs inside! Nearly unheard of for being a cabin in the "woods". The owner Sherry and her son, John are the perfect hosts. We felt like we had our privacy, but knew they were there if we needed anything. To top off the experience we were greeted with a hand written card and a bottle of wine! I highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful time at the Wolf Den Cabin. This was our first time staying in this cabin, and we were blown away by all of the upgrades and work that the owners have done. The cabin was perfect for me and my family , including our small dogs. We have all ready booked our next trip and can't wait!

We were greeted the moment we got there and provided with all the great little ins and outs of the property. The creek below the cabin was the highlight for my little man. We were warmly greeted by Sherry the evening of our arrival. The property had great amnesties and a cool tree lined trail that leads to a creek on site. My family appreciates all the wolf den has to offer and proximity to local attractions. Leavenworth is Bavarian theme tourist site not far and a must visit. Bonus was the cool Rock House cafe. Great vacation stay!

Amazing Little Cabin!
The cabin was exactly as advertised! It was cozy and quiet and very very clean. Location was perfect! Just about 15 minutes from Leavenworth, and less than an hour from the amazing Colchuck Lake. However, it was off the beaten path just enough to truly feel like we were away from everything. Both Sherry and John were a pleasure to chat with and very extremely attentive. I wish we had more time, i would have truly loved to explore the area more. Certainly would be booking again!

Sherry and John are awesome! Couldn’t ask for better hosts. Location was great and perfect size for a couple with kids. We did have a miss hap with our dog and Sherry was understanding and didn’t make us feel like bad dog parents! We already were beating ourselves up and they did not add to it. Thank you and John for being so kind. Still a amazing time and the hikes in the area are awesome. Sherry had a card and bottle of wine for us to celebrate our anniversary. She had a jar of dog treats that our fur baby loved. It’s nice to get to meet our hosts and get to know the people who share their homes.

Wonderful cabin retreat
My wife and I came here for our honeymoon to unplug and do something more peaceful - and it was perfect! It was a nice little cabin escape that let us punch out to different areas nearby but then come 'home' to somewhere quiet and secluded (versus a hotel/resort). Walking the creek at the base of the property was really nice too, great way to burn some time and go hunt rocks if you like collecting things - bring crocs!

We had such a nice, peaceful weekend at the Wolf Den cabin, our hosts were really kind, they made our whole family (including our 2 greyhounds) feel really welcome with a nice bottle of wine and treats for our pups. Great A-frame Cabin
Everything you would expect from an A-frame, rustic and cozy. On top of that, your just above a babbling (or rushing) creek where you can hang out in privacy. The space is small, but very efficiently used. Everything was clean and in good working order. Well-stocked kitchen, nice entertainment system, ac’s in each room and a bottle of wine to boot. The host is incredibly gracious and approachable. Check-in and out was perfect. Overall, a wonderful experience, close to Leavenworth, but not too close.

Perfect spot for weekend getaway
Rented the cabin for my partner, mom and dad. Loved the listing originally because they were pet friendly and a great price. The cabin was simple but had everything we needed. The space was good for 4 people. The neighborhood is quite and only located 17 minutes from downtown leavenworth. The river near the cabin was loud and fast but not bothersome and very peaceful. The hostess was great and we plan on returning to this cabin again! Thank you!!

Perfectly cozy Riverside stay
Such a cute little A-frame. We stayed here with my brother and sister-in-law and it was a cozy stay. It was cool enough to have a fire going throughout the day in the stove which I loved! If it got a little toasty we would just open the door and be able to hear the river along with the fire. I mean what a perfect combination! It was plenty of room for four people to stay. We didn't use the kitchen much at all but it was plenty stocked with the things you would need to use the kitchen. There was sufficient alternative bedding options and fans for when I got hot. First night we watched a DVD which was something we haven't done in a long time. Second night we played games at the dining room table which is perfectly sized for four people to play a board game. We chatted around the fireplace, some sitting on the couch, some sitting in chairs at the table for coffee in the morning and I couldn't have asked for a better sweeter weekend. This cabin was perfectly located. We were spending most of our time in Leavenworth and the drive wasn't too far and was certainly pretty. Our host was very kind and made the trip feel special and the stay easy. We would absolutely stay here again. Just a note because I did not expect it which is on me and not on the host. When I say cozy, I really do mean cozy. You could easily hear chatter from either bedroom in either bedroom. The loft bed is directly above the other bed which is directly above the toilet also.

Family weekend in Leavenworth
We traveled out from Seattle for a weekend with our adult daughter, her fiancée, and their year old Brittany. This sweet spot is an easy drive to Leavenworth for great restaurants and fun walks. Also enjoyed walking the area trailheads and local sites. The Aframe cabin is sweetly decorated, the beds are very comfortable and it was outfitted for a weekend away with everything we needed. So appreciative of the welcome note, bottle of wine and dog bones for our puppy. Enjoyed quiet evenings listening to the river and playing games. Perfect weekend getaway! We’ll be back!

The host takes the personal touch the extra mile - we knew we'd found someplace special when we arrived to the little care package inside! We stayed plenty warm despite the snowbanks outside, let our dog romp along the river's edge, and got quality rest in a luxuriously soft bed.

Beautiful A-frame stay
We LOVED staying at this cabin. It felt like the perfect balance of rustic cabin and modern amenities. We spent a few days there to enjoy Leavenworth and go skiing near Plain. We worked from there too and the wifi was great! Our dog enjoyed the treats left out and we enjoyed the wine - those were really nice touches. And when we left a few items the host was super gracious in letting us know and then sending them to us. Highly recommend!
