The area is safe at all hours. The hotel has a good breakfast for long hours. I got a boxed breakfast the last day as I was going to Machu PIcchu. The courtyard is beautiful and charming; in the evening they set up fire heaters so you can enjoy the night with a drink. i highly recommend it."
