Very charming! Loved our room with a private courtyard. Large room with very large bathroom. Property is very peaceful, with water features and no traffic noise. Staff is excellent, very accomodating for our needs, and patient with our poor French. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property.

Very quaint place with character right outside of Aix-en-Provence. Just 10 min or less driving to the center (La Rotonde). The staff was very friendly and the location is tranquil.

Picturesque hotel located 15 mins of driving from Chateau La Coste. Great staff, excellent breakfast, the pool is large and has beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended!

Wonderful place to stay. The staff went over and above to make us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. The surroundings were beautiful and the interior was first class. The food was delicious and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We are looking forward to returning to this hotel and reuniting with the wonderful people who work there.

Very nice dinner, beautiful outdoor space. Enjoyed the food, the gentlemen who served the cheese course provided a wonderful explanation of the types of cheese as well as the places of origin. Lovely dinner and stay.

Very good, but could be better
Beautiful property but needs some TLC. The lobby is beautiful, as is the restaurant, however, with the hallways, rooms, grounds, and front entrance there is a fair bit of deferred maintenance. Our room was spacious, but the carpet was very old and the air conditioner did not work very well (and had crusty pieces of bread in them). Lightbulbs were out in the lamps (the staff got them working very quickly, though). We got the available room at the hotel, so the one we stayed in may have not been used all that much.

It’s a nice place, generally speaking. The good parts: large room, great bed linens, very private (although for us having a private patio was irrelevant). The not-so-good: parts: location difficult to find, especially for American drivers. Had a tiny kitchenette but no microwave and no coffeemaker. Large grounds of what may have been at one time a grand estate, today it has a somewhat unkempt, tired look. The grounds are large but need a lot of landscaping work, and this detracts from the overall appearance. Thought it was very pricey (paid more than $300 per night) so was not happy to see same rooms offered on day of our arrival for 200€, around $250. Also, now that we have been to Aix, would not stay in a hotel outside the city.

The building and grounds were beautiful and the room was large by European standards. The staff were couteous and helpful. It was further outside of town than I thought, but it was very quiet due to the location, which was nice.

Nice hotel just outside town
We had a nice stay at the hotel... it’s a short Uber or taxi ride into town if you don’t want the parking hassle. The property is very nice to walk around, the pool looked great but it was late In the season and too chilly. The room we were in was very nice although dark, which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. If you like a lot of light you should see if that’s available first. Otherwise I highly recommend!

Elegant and peaceful stay
Very welcoming staff that is multilingual and available 24/7. The setting is very relaxing; feels like a chateaus. The rooms with a terrace is nice for enjoying a relaxing time in the evening though not private since dinner party was being held right below us. Short drive into Aix but be prepared to find parking lots in town Pool area is nice with good service. Breakfast buffet was perfect.

Terrible wifi connection; it was very inconvenient for us. We were going to let it slide but when we mentioned it to front desk staff staff during check out in a constructive way they replied dismissively that "no one had ever told them that". Reviews on this website suggest otherwise.

Could be wonderful but a few things let it down...
The hotel itself and the rooms are beautiful. However, unfortunately the staff were indifferent (in both the on-site restaurant and the hotel); there was no shower in our room (not advertised and required you to take a bath); the on-site restaurant was ok, but service was patchy and slow and food was patchy (some great dishes, others less so). Need a car as it is outside of Aix-en-provence. Breakfast is very nice (home made yoghurts and jams were a nice touch, although would want to be for EUR20 per person!)

Fabulous oasis on the edge of a marvelous city
This place is heavenly--an idyllic setting with fabulous grounds, a magnificent view and wonderful staff. We loved returning here after busy touring days and enjoying wonderful dinners in the lively restaurant. We will definitely be returning!

Classy hotel experience on beautiful grounds.
This is a class-act. The front desk staff were welcoming and professional. The lobby's decor and appearance was a good indication of the quality of the hotel. While we hadn't planned on eating in the hotel restaurant, we ended up having dinner there both nights. The food was incredible! Everything tasted fresh, simply prepared, light, and delicious! We went with a prix fix menu, which was a good value. Then we went to our room. Wow, what a room! You step down into what seemed like a former wine cellar. It was a suite: spacious, clean, had a sectional couch, table and chair, king size bed etc. The bathroom was modern with a shower and a separate tub, beautiful tile floors, modern fixtures and lighting. The grounds had ponds complete with carp to greet you! It was an absolute delight!

This hotel has real pros and cons. We stayed in cottage 12. Walking into the room there was an overwhelming mildew smell that was completely unacceptable. The room was also dark and a bit gloomy. The bathroom on the other hand was big and modern and nice with great shower. After one night we asked to change rooms and they were full so we couldn't. They did not deny the smell issue but did make me feel like I had to convince them of the problem saying no one else had mentioned it. The main building is lovely. The grounds are nice. Did not use the pool but saw 2 teens having fun in it. We had the breakfast but a bit dear at 20 Euros each. The cook was lovely and very friendly. Would definitely not go back or recommend as it was least pleasing hotel on our journey but most expensive.

Beautiful setting on the outskirts of Aix
This hotel is everything you think about when staying in Provence. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The location has easy access to the village centre and surrounding areas. The grounds are beautiful and the food excellent. The kind of place where once you check in you don't want to leave.

Our experience was excellent. We loved everything about this wonderful Inn. The location is perfect for side trips in all directions. The staff is warm, helpful and personable. We would go back in a second. One draw back is if you have any mobility issues as there are small steps everywhere and some rooms have 4 spiral steps to the bathroom with no handrail which might be challenging to an older person middle of the night. This is a slightly rustic style country Inn with great beauty.

We stayed here three nights. It is out of town, and you don't want to be driving in Aix. On the other hand, very convenient to the airport and easy to find and park at. We had a nice large room, very comfortable, with patio. The restaurant has nice ambiance and the dessert was very good. Our entrees, however, were not good, and they were expensive. No real dining options close by, though we did not really investigate. Staff very helpful with directions, etc. The swimming pool is very nice, large and sunny.

A lovely, former farm, well-kept, quaint and charming. Service was attentive. It is a 10 minutes walk to St. Paul de Vence, which is close enough to get theire easily without dealing with parking and you can escape the crowds at the end of the day.

In the process of refreshing the rooms. Ours was still to be refreshed. On the other hand had 1000 sq ft. Restaurant is excellent for dinner or breakfast. Needs Nespresso machine in room at the prices charged. Staff very service orientated

I spent one night in Marseille and had to get out for the remainder of my stay in that region. Instead I retreated into the countryside near Aix-en-provence at Le Mas d'Entremont, and it was a solid move I have to say. Le Mas is a fantastic hotel, truly relaxing. Every member of the staff that I encountered was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. The restaurant was superb. The grounds were a delight. If I return to Provence, I will stay at Le Mas. An item that I found amusing was that when I was shopping on expedia's site, I saw several hotels that caught my eye. I saw a picture of a German Shepherd dog lounging at the front entrance of Le Mas d'Entremont and I said "That's the place for me." As I arrived at the hotel later, there the dog was, in the exact same pose and position as I saw on the expedia site. I asked jokingly if the dog was real, since it seemed odd. Over the course of my several days stay, I saw the dog move around, proving that it was real. But I found that I saw it in that position near the entrance as often as not, so no wonder. She was incredibly gentle by the way. You need to have a car at this hotel though. Don't stay here unless you have a car or are prepared to either spend a fair amount on taxis, or to not leave.

A mini-resort outside the city
We loved the look and feel of the hotel. It felt like a miniature resort with the comfort of being just outside Aix. We had a car rental which was a huge help (too far to walk...not sure how other people may commute without a car). Lovely grounds, pool, accommodations.

We we're disappointed with this hotel.we had to ask for the room to be cleaned ,as all the furniture was dusty!the gardens needed some TLC.The staff except for two ladies were brisk and not very informative.The hotel is isolated and there is no where to walk.The dinners are expensive and with little variety.We would not recommend this hotel.
