About this property

The Sapphire House | Art Deco, Arcade, Fenced Yard

  • Some stays are comfortable. The Sapphire House is something else. Bold Art Deco interiors, a lounge wall in deep sapphire and gold, and a whole home that`s entirely yours. Three bedrooms, a fenced yard for kids and pets, and a third bedroom with a retro arcade table that keeps the kids - big and small entertained for hours. Minutes from iconic Beaufort Street. Message me before you book with with any questions, I`m easy to reach and happy to help,

Welcome to the Sapphire House, as you walk through the door, the hallway opens into the lounge, a wall painted in deep sapphire and gold fills the room with a warmth that settles in before you’ve even put your bags down. It’s the kind of space that makes you exhale.
The whole home is yours, three bedrooms, two living areas, a fully equipped kitchen, and a secure fenced yard where the afternoons tend to take care of themselves. Whether you’re here with your family, your partner, a small group of friends, or just your pet, the house is set up to feel genuinely easy to be in.

Two separate living spaces give your group room to breathe. The main lounge has that sapphire-and-gold feature wall, moody and beautiful without trying too hard. Move through into the dining and kitchen area and the palette shifts to rich emerald and gold. It’s the kind of room where a simple breakfast feels like an occasion and no one’s in a rush to leave the table.

The kitchen is fully equipped and built to be used. The kitchen is centred around a breakfast island, the natural gathering point whether you’re making coffee or pulling together a proper dinner. A Smeg stove anchors one end, every surface is clear and ready, and the whole space feels relaxed enough that cooking here doesn’t feel like effort.
Two of the bedrooms are calm and genuinely restful, hotel-quality linen on queen beds, quiet enough to sleep properly, the kind of rest you notice the benefit of the next morning. The third is its own thing entirely. A retro two-player arcade table sits in there loaded with 60 built-in games, alongside a queen bed and a stack of board games. It keeps the kids - big and small entertained for hours, and it`s consistently the feature people bring up when they come back.
The bathroom has a clawfoot tub, properly deep, worth making time for. There’s also a walk-in shower when the morning doesn’t allow for anything slower. A separate powder room means the bathroom is never a bottleneck, even when the whole group is moving at once.
The front veranda is where the first coffee of the day tends to happen, quiet, unhurried, the street still waking up around you. A fully fenced yard for the kids and pets to run free. Gather around the outdoor dining table as the evening light drops and no one moves to go inside.

The whole house is yours. Three bedrooms, both living areas, the kitchen, the bathroom and powder room, the veranda and the fenced yard. Nothing shared, nobody else on site.

Secure driveway parking directly outside, plus free street parking.

The yard is fully fenced, which is rarer than it should be this close to the city — dogs can be off the lead and children cannot get out the front.

I host these four places myself, so you are messaging me, not a call centre.

Your digital guide comes with the booking — arrival instructions, how everything works, and the local list: where to eat and drink, day trips, and the places I go myself.

After that I leave you alone unless you need me. If you do, I`m a message away and I answer quickly.

Inglewood sits on the good side of quiet — a Federation street of red brick and verandas, a short walk from one of the best eating strips in Perth.

Beaufort Street runs the length of it: coffee in the morning, a long lunch, small bars in the evening, and the Astor Theatre if you want a film in a room with a ceiling worth looking at. There is a monthly night market when the weather turns.

The buses run along Beaufort straight into the city, which is the part people are surprised by. You can walk to dinner and take a bus to Perth the next morning without moving the car.

The Swan River and the Swan Valley are both an easy drive.

Mostly though, people stay here because the street is calm, the yard is fenced, and the house does not feel like an Airbnb.

Beaufort Street is a short walk, and the bus stops are on it. The buses run straight into Perth, so you can leave the car where it is and still get to the city and back.

Secure driveway parking directly outside, plus free street parking, if you would rather drive.

The airport is straightforward from here.

To make your arrival as smooth as possible, you`ll receive a secure link after booking to complete a quick online check-in. This includes a simple ID verification and a standard rental agreement - it only takes a few minutes and means everything is sorted well before you arrive.
For the comfort and security of all our guests, exterior security cameras are in place around the property. We also use internal noise monitoring devices - these are fully privacy-compliant and record no audio - to help ensure Sapphire remains a comfortable space for guests and a considerate one for the neighbours.
Sapphire House is proudly pet-friendly, and we`d love to welcome your furry family member. A small additional pet fee applies, so please let us know at the time of booking if you`ll be travelling with a pet and we`ll take care of the rest.
No smoking or vaping inside. No candles or open flames.
    No parties or events.
Quiet hours 10pm to 7am Monday to Saturday, and until 9am on Sundays and public holidays. Inside and out.
Only the guests on the booking. If you’d like to have people over, ask me first.
The person booking needs to be 25 or over.
Dogs are welcome with a pet fee. Please pick up after them and keep them off the furniture.
Please don’t take indoor furniture outside. A lot of the pieces here are one-offs I’ve hunted down and restored.
At Terra de Sol and The Tonic there’s an apartment directly above, so please keep noise down at night and early in the morning.
If something breaks, let me know. Things happen — I’d much rather hear it from you.
