Not easy to find entrance if you are driving. I parked at the Convention Centre car park and rang the hotel. I was on hold for 9 minutes so proceeded to walk around to find the reception. When I got to reception I was still on hold, it had now been 15 minutes. The lady at reception was not friendly. Dismissed completely any concern I had about being on hold for 15 minutes. Their information states that limited free self parking is available but parking can be paid for at $30 a day. There was no parking. It was raining, cold and windy and the reception lady simply stated you could park at the Wilson Car Park which was a good 500 metres away. I cancelled my booking on the spot and will need to contact Wotif to receive the refund. I went to the Peninsula Hotel in South Perth where I often stay, and was greeted with the usual good service. I have stayed at this hotel in the past, having arrived there by Taxi. It is an average establishment on the whole, I only booked it for the location this visit, but needless to say will never stay again. To be on hold on the telephone for 15 minutes alone is testament to the establishments lack of customer service.
