In the historic heart of Pernes-les-Fontaines, you will enjoy village life all year round, its shops within walking distance, while enjoying the comfort, calm and luxury of this charming property. Maison Farget (classified 4 stars and listed in Sawdays's "Special Places to Stay") is a large village house on three floors, which has been designed, decorated and furnished to offer you a quality stay with family or friends. The three floors are connected by a superb original spiral staircase. On the ground floor, past the entrance hall, there is a large relaxation room (ideal for yoga or for children to play), an indoor swimming pool (7x3m) heated and with counter current swimming, as well than a sauna: relaxation guaranteed. Through its architecture mixing wood and glass roofs, the place is very bright during the day and cozy in the evening. You can enjoy the swimming pool at any time of the day (it is lit by pool lights for swimming at night). On the first floor, the fully equipped American kitchen (with 3-seat island) is open onto a beautiful and large living room with parquet floors, with a large table (up to 10 seats), a sofa and a fireplace. This floor is connected at the back to a large outdoor wooden terrace (deck type), with views of Old Pernes and Mt Ventoux, to allow you to enjoy the sun of Provence. On this terrace, there is a second table for meals, a garden furniture, deckchairs, a hammock, a large parasol and a barbecue (charcoal). On the kitchen side, there is a charming little balcony (covered with wisteria in season) with a view of the small historical town hall square ("place de la mairie"). On the top floor, you will appreciate the mezzanine and its library, above the living room, with its many books in French and English and its pool table (6 holes). In terms of bedrooms, the house has on different levels 6 bedrooms (sleeps 11, and a little more if needed). 4 of the bedrooms have air conditioning. \* Ground floor: \- green bedroom (double bed - sleeps 2) with a small bedroom (single bed - sleeps 1) adjacent to it. \* First floor: \- gray bedroom (double bed - sleeps 2) - with A/C \* Second floor: \- red bedroom (double bed - sleeps 2) with A/C and en-suite bathroom (bath, shower, sink), \- blue bedroom (double bed and additional mattress on mezzanine - sleeps 2/3) with A/C, a small mezzanine and individual balcony \- yellow bedroom (sleeps 2 - bunk beds for kids) also with A/C You can thus adjust the sleeping arrangements according to your needs. Pernes-les-Fontaines, between Mont Ventoux and the Luberon massif, is a charming little Provençal town ideally located for visiting the region and its tourist sites (Avignon 20 minutes away, Isle-sur-la-Morgue 10 minutes away , Gordes, Roussillon, Fontaine-de-Vaucluse, Saumane-de-Vaucluse, Ménerbes, Oppède, etc.). Pernes is particularly famous for its fountains route (walk to discover the 40 historic fountains of the city) and its Provencal market on Saturday morning (2 minutes walk from the house). You will take the opportunity to discover the region, its Provencal markets and taste its famous wines (Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, etc.), or simply enjoy quietly the life of the village, its local shops and its cultural festivals in season. Rien ne manque dans la cuisine, on a l’impression d’être chez nous tant au niveau de l’électroménager que du fond de cuisine (sel, épices, sucre, farine...). Dans les pièces de vie on peut lire, jouer : jeux de société, billard..., regarder la télé en toute tranquillité et surtout pour les enfants (et les grands), une piscine dans laquelle on trouve : ballon, frites, filet.. et la taille est plus que correcte ! La pièce qui jouxte la piscine permet aux enfants de jouer en toute tranquillité. Côté chambres, elles sont toutes sympas avec une bonne literie. Très bien situé dans le centre-ville on a à proximité commerces, marché....Nous avons vraiment apprécié ce séjour et nous n’hésiterons pas si l’on retourne dans cette région avec notre famille ou des couples d’amis à relouer cette agréable maison. La pièce à vivre spacieuse, nous avons pu mettre un grand sapin près de la table et du salon. La cheminée fonctionne très bien. La cuisine est bien équipée ouverte sur la salle à manger et le salon. Le nombre de chambres nous a permis de choisir chacun un niveau différent. Le clou est bien sûr la piscine intérieure que nous avons apprécié à cette saison. Nous avons aussi profité du billard et du babyfoot. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la décoration de la maison riche et de très bon goût. Nous avons pu facilement découvrir le Lubéron en particulier la ville charmante de L'Isle sur la Sorgue et fait une balade sur les hauteurs de Valleron. ##### Philippe G. Nous étions déjà venus l'année dernière, mais la maison et la ville sont toujours aussi sympas. C'est spacieux, reposant et luxueux. Bon, niveau électricité la combo contre courant + sauna ne marche toujours pas très bien, il faudrait peut-être plancher sur le sujet. A part ça, on recommande ! Nous avons passé une semaine fantastique avec nos 5 enfants. La maison située au coeur du village permet de tout faire à pied! Elle est par ailleurs formidablement bien équipée en jeux (billard, baby-foot, piscine, sauna, console...) qui nous ont permis de passer des moments inoubliables. What an amazing place....even just entering the front door, looking at the staircase, we were all enchanted. And the adventure just continued from there. The whole house is are carefully and beautifully decorated, and have a very spacious and well equipped kitchen. We spend lost of time in the pool & sauna after exploring the cozy town of Pernes-les-Fontaines and many of the nearby local sites. We served drinks at the terrace enjoying the wonderful view. We are a big family, three generations and lots of space for all of us. We want to come back! Nous avons passé une semaine très agréable en famille,la maison est magnifiquement équipée, elle reste fraiche même en pleine canicule, la piscine restant agréable aussi , quel bonheur de se baigner à 26 27° quand il fait 39° dehors ! Le centre de Pernes est un beau lieu de promenade quotidien avec ses 40 fontaines et tout est accessible à pied. Une très belle architecture intérieure, de beaux volumes décorés avec goût; La pièce de vie est parfaite pour partager de bons moments, côté cuisine (équipée ++), côté salle à manger, côté salon; Les chambres sont très confortables, et que dire de l'espace piscine intérieure, à disposition jour et nuit pour la détente ou la nage à contre courant ! La terrasse est parfaite pour les repas, apéros, BBQ; Enfin, il y a encore un petit salon TV/DVD, une magnifique bibliothèque, un espace billard, une salle de jeux pour petits et grands; De quoi passer des journées bien remplies ! La maison allie le charme de l'ancien (superbe escalier, grande hauteur sous plafond) aux commodités du contemporain. Terrasse splendide avec vue sur le Mont Ventoux, près bon barbecue, piscine intérieure chauffée, sauna, grande pièce à vivre avec une cuisine très bien équipée, salle de billard, pièce de jeu pour les enfants, salle home cinéma : rien ne manque pour passer un séjour de rève. Du fait de sa position centrale, pas besoin de prendre la voiture pour aller manger un morceau ou faire les courses. Accueil très sympathique et renseignements sur la région disponibles. La maison est fantastique, super équipée, qui peut être appréciée été comme hiver avec sa piscine intérieure, sauna, billard, babyfoot.... Superbement située au cœur de Pernes les Fontaines, tout se fait à pieds. Quant à l’accueil, à l’image du reste, il a été impeccable. Tres belle piscine interieure, immense terrasse pour les repas au soleil. Grand salon, cuisine de tres belle qualité. Immenses volumes et hauteur sous plafond.
