"We have stayed at this motel before and have not been disappointed. Our room was clean with nice linens & towels. The microwave, mini-fridge & single-cup coffee maker were all in good working order. The mattress was very comfortable & bug-free. We will continue to use this motel when in the Miami area & we highly recommend this establishment for a comfortable & budget-friendly stay."

"We came to enjoy a lake weekend with close friends from all over the Midwest. The lawn was the absolute perfect place for yard games (which we spent hours playing) and to enjoy the fire pit! The kitchen island is large, we spent a lot of time around it. This was perfect house. The owners are kid and responsive, they truly want everyone to have a great time! We loved our stay! Definitely recommend!"

"Modern amenities and comfort hiding in a cabin in the woods! Loved the sound of wildlife across the river while while sipping wine by the fire pit. Great for a weekend getaway, or if enjoying nearby Grand Lake."

"The property was off Interstate 44 exit so you had to pay a toll right away then go to the stop light and take a right then go down to the next side street. The hotel's location was a bit inconvenient because the entrance for the hotel was right after an empty parking lot entrance that did not connect. It was a bit difficult to establish which road was the hotel parking lot. The inconvenient part was when we turned in the wrong parking lot. The street isn't lit well enough and it was had to see at night. We ended up having to turn around in a gravel parking lot that had 2 huge pot holes that were almost the whole width of the exit. That was extremely inconvenient. A bit better lighting and maybe an arrow sign to clarify which drive is the Holliday Inn Express would be nice. Other than that it was perfect! It smelled nice when we walked in. The staff called me by name and that was really nice. Very friendly and attentive. Also the staff was dress properly in full uniform and was neat and clean. She was wearing her name tag. The room was very clean. We were traveling with our dog. When we left the room I left my cell in case he started barking or an emergency. The text me to let me know the had noise complaints about the dog barking. She was so nice about it. Thank goodness we were only 5 mins away. Didn't get time to have breakfast before leaving. I was bummed about that. I would stay here again "
