About this property

Tas Gwynn - a house that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

  • The small village of St Buryan is a bit of an undiscovered gem. Quiet, quaint and steeped in Cornish history, this lovely place which is surrounded by the countryside with many fantastic walking routes to enjoy.

Tas Gwynn in the heart of the village, is a refurbished two-bedroom bungalow with a lovely open living area, large modern kitchen and log burner. The private garden means that guests can enjoy relaxation in the sunshine, and those travelling with their dogs have that much-needed space for them to stretch their legs. One of the two bedrooms can be configured to be either a twin or king size which makes the property ideal for all groups including couples, friends and families.

Both the village’s Grade I listed church with its distinguishable granite tower, and the local St Buryan Inn pub are a minutes’ walk away, as are the village post office, shop and art gallery. A regular bus service runs daily from outside the post office and travels to Sennen Cove, Porthcurno and Land’s End in one direction, or Newlyn and Penzance in the opposite. Lovers of nature can explore Trewidden Garden which is just 9 minutes by car, and those looking for a Cornish cream tea or ice cream can enjoy one in Mousehole - one of the county’s prettiest coastal villages.
