What an amazing cottage. Fully equipped with everything you could need and more. Very easy check in process. Perfectly located for getting around, just off the main road but still so quiet.Absolutely loved staying here, will definitely come back.
Had a fantastic time the cottage is beautiful well looked after. my grandson really enjoyed him self on the beach and the walks with our dogs seeings the cows and sheep, hoping to be back again
The house was as described and absolutely beautiful. The fireplace and the low roofs abd beams really gave us the feel we were lookjng for to kick our Cotswolds visit off.
We would like to stay in a pretty Little Cottage during our Holiday in Cornwall- and this was exactly what we hoped to find.
It was clean, well located… just an 2 hour Walk to St. Michaels Mount, half an hour with the Bus to st. Ives… Perfect
And Karin was very friendly and helpful.
Cuckoo cottage was the perfect property for me and my family while we were on holiday in Cornwall. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby seaside resorts but only 5 minutes to St Michael's Mount and 15 minutes to St Ives. The cottage had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. It was a struggle to drag ourselves out each morning.
Excellent communication from the owners and Karen.
We all agreed that we would stay here again.
We have enjoyed our stay in Cockoo Cottage very much! All appliances work well, everything you need is there. The cottage is quite old, which means that you bump your head alot and it is quite humid. But beyond that it is just extremely cosy. The check in/out process was easy. We were there with two adults and two children and there was plenty of room for us. It is a pity that the pub down the road was closed (for good?), meaning for dinner you needed to drive to Penzance. But there is a little store down the road that had everything for breakfast. Many thanks to the host!
We had a fantastic stay at Cuckoo cottage and would definitely recommend to others. It is ideally placed to explore south west Cornwall. It was a shame that the local pub is currently closed but I understand it opens again in October. Lovely, cottage with everything you need for a great break.
Enjoyed our stay at Cuckoo Cottage (the dogs did too - some lovely walks nearby.) Cottage has everything you need and more! A toilet upstairs would give it an excellent rating.
The cottage was very cute and well equipped; I was pleasantly surprised it had everything we neededand more besides. The location was great for hops to the coast with our toddler. A wonderful little stay and we cant wait to revisit.
Absolutely superb. Extremely well organised and charming.
Only disappointment was having to leave at the end of my stay. But look forward to returning in autumn!!

Beautiful cottage! Clean, well epuipped and comfortable.
Lovely open fire for chilly evenings. In a quiet village with plenty of long walks nearby and good position for exploring the west coast of Cornwall. We went in January so weather not great but had nice evenings sat by the fire in the lounge. The wood burner uses a lot of wood (not provided) so we used the open fire. The cottage was warm without this but was cozy to have the fire. Bed was comfortable and kitchen well epuipped. Pub, Chinese take away and Spar shop in the village and plenty of large supermarkets a few minutes drive away. Penzance, St Ives, St Michaels Mount and local beaches in easy reach and plenty of country walks across coast paths and farmland. Take plenty of £1 coins for the electric meter although the post office in the Spar will give change.
The housekeeper is local and happy to help with any queries. Altogether a happy and relaxing break. Would recommend Cuckoo Cottage without hesitation.
Das Cottage ist wirklich niedlich und enthält alles was man braucht. Dadurch, dass das Haus sehr alt ist, hängt leider überall ein modriger Geruch, das ist aber das einzige Negative der Unterkunft.
Very clean everything we required in a great location Karen the caretaker was brilliant very helpful and friendly very welcoming and great communication would recommend wholeheartedly
We loved staying here, very welcoming my son was Overjoyed with the Christmas decorations and treats that were left for him. We are definitely going to book again.
A cosy cottage in a small village. Within walking distance to a convenience store and a pub, with only a short drive to Penzance for any serious shopping in Penzance. The cottage was clean and had all you could need for a comfortable stay.
Communication with Louise was excellent while the welcome by Karen was warm and informative.
I certainly highly recommend Cuckoo Cottage to any visitors to this region.
Enjoyed the cottage, unfortunately double bed didn't suit my 6ft 3 husband.
Chinese, shop and pub close by.
Cottage has everything you need for an enjoyable week away.
