Hi Sarah, Thank you for your review, So sorry there were problems as this is the first negative review I have had in the ten years I have let the cottage. It is easy to blame covid but the late availability was directly due to cleaners isolating at short notice and the acute shortage of available staff in Cornwall this year. I managed to get your cottage bumped up the list (from 400 miles away) and I believe you were in 75 minutes late and were offered tea and coffee while you were waiting. I am most concerned that you needed to dust and will take that up with the management but neither us nor guests have ever had cause to complain before so perhaps this was also due to the staff problems and cutting corners at a very difficult time. Fire alarms are a problem - we are obliged to use mains operated sensitive ones by the fire regulations and they do go off when cooking - you can usually hear at least one on the site at tea time! The pool times are totally out of my control but I do pay for pool entry for all my guests whereas everybody else has to pay. Once again, my apologies and I hope it didn't spoil your holiday.
