The moment you step in the condo, an incredible view of the sugar white beach will greet you. The Gulf Dunes property is definitely one of the Okaloosa Island's favorite destinations. Featuring 2 beach front pools, tennis courts, exercise room, BBQ grills, and elevators PLUS a huge beach front so you never feel crowded at the beach. Close to shopping, dining and fun activities for the whole family. An awesome romantic vacation or a memorable family vacation on the beach, there's lots of activities for everyone to enjoy!! And for your convenience, we have BEACH SERVICE! This saves you up to $30 each day from having to rent chairs and an umbrella daily. Unit was clean and ready for us and had just about everything we needed. Our only complaint is the mattress, it needs to be replaced as its very uncomfortable (older traditional inner spring mattress); we like a firm mattress, but this was bad, this is the only reason we would not book this unit again. Brooks and Shorey was great to work with, responsive to questions.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the condo to the beach is perfect, and the rental company customer service and communication is amazing! There were a lot of amenities and perks that came with the rental to help make it a great vacation! The room was clean and check in/out was easy as well. The overall accommodations were just "ok" though as much of the kitchen and other rooms were very outdated. There did appear to be something that looked like black mold (though I am certainly not stating that as a certainty) around the ceiling, especially in the bathroom and quite a bit of rust on air vents, etc. Other than those minor things we really enjoyed our stay at Gulf Dunes!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Always a great experience with Brooks and Shorey! We had a great week! The unit wasn’t bad but needs a deep cleaning in the off season. The balcony tile floor and furniture need a deep clean as well. The owners need to look at the kitchen cookware and dishes. We were very disappointed as we had to purchase cookware to use while we were there as what few pieces we found aren’t in any condition to use. Just need to stock kitchen with basic cooking equipment. Overall the unit is pleasant and the views are amazing.

For a family who likes to spend a lot of time at the beach, the location of this room was perfect. We liked to go back to the room for lunch and it was so easy to get to. The condo was clean and having the washer dryer combo was great.

The unit had everything we needed. The view was spectacular. Everything worked well. The washing machine and ice maker were loud (so don't use when sleeping). I plan to stay here again.
