Awesome stay and location

Awesome accommodations and location. You walk from parking onto the beach. View is unbeatable. Destin area is a great location we will visit again. No complaints, it is represented accurately.

The view!

We had a very nice 2 week vacation. We lived on the deck because the view was so wonderful. We cooked everyday. Had everything we needed. I have already recommended this place to a few people!

Great View

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit had a great view! Very peaceful and relaxing. It does need a bit of an update at the pull out is broken down bad and was very uncomfortable for my adult son to sleep on. It was also full of crumbs when we pulled it out and was dirty under the couch. Other than that it was an okay condo but has a great view and easy access to the beach! We enjoyed our time.

Great vacation!

Loved Okaloosa Island and Condo

Loved the unit we stayed in. Looked exactly like the pictures. Right on the beach, kids loved the pool, no hiccups at all. Would definitely book this unit again. Great trip!

Fun Vacation

The only and 2 minuses - there were no condiments or extra in the kitchen and we weren't allowed to fry fish in the condo. We love to make fresh tuna so this was a negative for us.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was not worth the amount of money paid. There was only two chairs on the balcony,(three if you count the broken one you couldn't sit in) no table. Looking back up from the beach our condo was the ONLY one without a table. Mold in the bathroom trim. The carpet was worn out. Mattresses were awful. No hairdryer, no paper towels, no laundry soap. A half used roll of toilet paper. They had broken command hooks on the wall. Even the pictures were sun faded. Only 2 towels when we clearly had 3 people booked. The couch bed didn't work at all- completely broken. The alarm clock in the bedroom didn't even work. We tried to call the office multiple times (before closing time) and nobody answered. Absolutely not worth the money. Pay a little more and stay in a privately owned condo like Pelican Isle. We own rental properties in Scotland- we couldn't believe how cheaply they short cut everything. To be fair, the sheets were clean and the fridge was clean. The air conditioner, dishwasher, and washer and dryer all worked. But the more I think about how much we paid for what we got, I'm getting more worked up. Thanks for the opportunity to review.

Perfect Location, Great Beach, Average Condo

We enjoyed our first family beach vacation at Emerald Towers West and would return but likely not to the condo we rented. It was average at best. Personally, I like to cook a bit while on vacation and there was very little to work with and what was there was dated and old - a very common theme with this particular room. Back door sticks to the point where my wife chipped multiple nails. Balcony floor was stained. I knew this going in after talking with the property managers and things being dated wasn’t a concern of our prior but it was a bit more dated than we thought upon arrival (zenith tv in the bedroom which didn’t change channels and we couldnt get the tv in the living room to work either). On the other end of the equation, ETW was great. The facility is a little run down, but the beach access and accessibility is second to none and that’s what we were paying for. Pool was nice and clean each day and there are restaurants, putt putt and ice cream within 5 minutes of the place. Boardwalk, which was awesome, is 10 mins down the road. Would return to Emerald Towers West but likely not to that specific room until things were updated.

Needs some TLC

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was functional, except for the kitchen. If you plan to use the kitchen, DO NOT rent here! Dishes were stained, some glass cookware looked dirty/greasy. The layout was ridiculously comical. The only place for the refrigerator is in front of drawers so you cannot access them well at all. There was no good place for the silverware, because the drawers can’t fully pull out. So it’s in a tray above the stove. The bed was very uncomfortable. If you look under the bed you can see the bottom falling out. Paint was chipping and peeling all over. Furniture was well worn. No decorations so it looked very bland. It definitely did not give off a beachy feel! We had to hunt for the TV remote which was in a box full of other remotes & outdated CD players above the refrigerator. (We accidentally came across this when looking for the silverware). BOTTOM LINE: We paid as much as everybody else in that building for a one-bedroom but got much less! The facility overall is fine, just find a different unit!!

Emerald Towers West 3003 Very Disappointed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great as was the view from balcony. We visit the Island 2-3 x yearly and I have to say this was the most disappointing rental I’ve stayed in. There was no cookware other than 1 ex small skillet and very minimal other items in the kitchen. The living room furniture needs replaced or at least cleaned. It was so dirty and stained we didn’t even use it. Bedroom carpet needs replaced very worn and loose. Need blackout blinds in bedroom. The owners should spend a few days and stay in this unit because it definitely needs upgrades and replacements. The unit was clean and Brooks and Shorey were amazing as always! We’re coming again in December already booked with Brooks and Shorey but we definitely picked a different condo!

Anniversary Beach Trip 2022

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit had the perfect beach view whether sitting on the balcony, the couch or making a meal from the kitchen area. The pool is in the front of the building, just beyond the parking lot, it’s smaller than others, but clean. No hot tub. Overall, this unit was nice and clean. You can see that they must’ve been renovating it by leaving paint cans in the pantry & hot water heater area next to pantry could use new insulation as it is a bit torn. The bedroom curtains & valance were down & left in the closet, inside a big garbage bag. My husband put a blanket over the blinds at night to block the LED light outside the bedroom from shinning through a lot more at bedtime. The unit could use room darkening curtains for sleeping. Otherwise, the bed is firm, comfortable. A/C works good with summertime heat. The bathroom light is dim, could be brighter. The hook on the back of door is broke, needs replacing. The double sink vanity area was nice and well lit, given plenty of towels for a week stay. The washer/dryer combo has a lil age, but works good. The lint trap was missing the cover over it on the door, but no lint was on clothes. Overall, it is a nice unit, just needs a kitchen upgrade with a few minor repairs. And, I would hope that they would keep the paint cans in the future of where I’m guessing was a “locked” utility closet next to the washer/dryer, along with the mop/broom & vacuum inside of it, not in the pantry or bedroom closet. Perhaps leave it unlocked to store those supplies. The perks of having 2 beach chairs, parking pass and one (1) free excursion with a paid excursion for every day of your stay is a plus. Overall, our experience here was an awesome stay and experience!
