It suited us very well for 3 nights thank you.
It was cosy and well located for our needs. Parking was an issue but one would expect that in a town centre and the cottage was of an age when there were far fewer cars.
The back garden has steep steps and the handrail could use a little attention.
Thank you for having us.

Cottage was beautiful, clean and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable. Great to have a washing machine on our road trip but shame there was no airer to dry clothes. The bathroom was downstairs which was difficult with kids. The stairs were VERY steep and had no handrail at all. One side was even open to the living room with no guard which seems unsafe! The house smelt sour and damp and sometimes of raw sewage. We worked out there is possiblely a problem with the plumbing as the toilet water level would drop below the bend when we were out for the day and we would return to a hideous smell filling the downstairs!? The shower cubicle is tiny to the point we struggled to bend to pick up toiletries and once damp the bathroom didn't dry and smelt stale. The outdoor area did not look like the picture. There is a very steep path up to the garden so couldn't really eat outside and the area is shared by 2 neighbours so not any privacy to sit out there. The parking was ridiculous! There was no parking at all on the street it was so busy, we had to park a long distance away around the train station which isn't bad for daily trips but packing and unpacking was difficult. The pub opposite is really nice for food and had a beer garden to sit in but the high street was almost deserted with alot of shops empty units.
We had a lovely stay in this cottage and it was perfectly situated for our needs. Everything we needed had already been thought about, tea, coffee, tea towels etc. There was only one very minor problem for us (not the fault of the cottage) and that was our puppy was unable to climb the outdoor steps up to the terrace. Otherwise it was perfect for our short stay.
Lovely cosy cottage which suited 2 of us with our dogs. Would suit family with small child / children as limited sofa space.
A great base to explore Penryn & Falmouth + good friendlypubs doing great food literally on the door step .
We had a great stay in Penryn.
Stairs may be a problem for those who are not so mobile as very steep.
Overall a great base for exploring Cornwall and would recommend
House is compact … parking was the biggest issue - not easy to find a space.
It would’ve been nice to have a small freezer, to help with keeping food fresh for longer.
Issues with the drainage caused us an issue - day one, and the shower not draining away quickly.. the rest of the stay.
will not recommend this is so bad, dirty, smell dump, can’t use the garden at all no for family’s .
Not happy at all no for family’s and pets, the garden is danger the steps are so bad can’t use the garden for my dog even for kids, one first day we claim the bunk bed steps was broken , the shower was stack, maybe is good for young people couple but not for family’s not safe at all, even the park space have the problem everyday to park near home. For this price not happy at all. Even we claim on the same day and send the picture like a proof , they didn’t care at all.
All as expected, clean and up to date equipment. Beds lovely and comfy, only criticism is that we could have done with a dishcloth! Bit that being very picky.
Bijou but clean and organised - great location in the centre of the town and easy access to train station, great pubs and all the local amenities. Lots of character and comfortable.
