Family/Dog Friendly cottage on Seneca Lake @ Long Point Beach with awesome views
New in 2025 Mini Splits A/C and Heating units in the upper and lower levels.
New in 2024 is an expanded Trex deck overlooking Seneca Lake, new side deck and stairs, new laminate flooring in the front porch, new and easier to operate trolley system and new living room and porch furniture and new outdoor furniture and gas firepit.
Our cottage offers 2 full bedrooms and a loft for sleeping (sleeps 8), 2 full bathrooms, two living room areas, two dining areas, full kitchen, wood firepit, 2 gas grills, gas firepit and plenty of outdoor space. The upper and lower levels are accessible by stairs outside and each level is separate. There are approximately 50 stairs to the cottage (some gradual landings) and we have a trolley system to transport your gear to the cottage. You can access the lake from stairs off our dock.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate boats. The lake can get rough at a moments notice, so boats need to be in a boat hoist to avoid damage to our dock and the boat.
We are family and dog friendly. We offer Fiber Optic WIFI and streaming services. Our cottage has the most amazing sunrise views and magnificent views in all directions. We are on the wine trail and 10 minutes from Penn Yan, 20 minutes from Geneva or Watkins Glen. Relax and catch the sunrays during the day or travel the Seneca Lake wine trail and at night relax and enjoy a fire overlooking the water.

We had a lovely stay at this Long Point Beach home. The home is clean and comfortable with everything needed to relax and enjoy the Finger Lakes & Wine Trails.
The host was very easy to work with and responsive.
Excellent!
Classic and Comfy cabin on the west side of Lake Seneca. Peaceful with good views. Stocked with everything you need. Host was attentive and courteous. The trolley to move gear and and down the steps was great.
Had a very nice time relaxing in this home. Everything we needed was in the house. Perfect location. Loved the kayaking, very easy since you are right on the lakefront. Extremely peaceful and quiet. Very close to more wineries that I can count. Lots of wine tasting. Both Watkins Glen and Geneva are easy drives away. Very nice experience for our first trip to the Finger Lakes.
Ideal location, right on water. Lots of room in the house. Was a little warm in living room at night. Deck was awesome. We all used the propane fireplace while drinking our morning coffee. Kayaks were used a lot. Found the trolly to be very useful bringing all our gear back up. Ate breakfast every morning on sun drenched porch. Would rent again.

Nice but not for more than a day
Property right on the lake was nice, but AC should not be listed as an amenity. There’s one tiny ac in the upstairs bedroom which ONLY cools the bedroom. Downstairs has an odor. We left early.
My family enjoyed the stay at the house a lot! The location is great. It's situated pretty much in the middle of Watkins Glenn, Pen Yann, and Geneva, so there are a lot of options if you want to hit up any of those towns. There are also several wineries very close by.
We spent a lot of time in the water swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding right from the docks. Bring water shoes to save your feet since there are a lot of small rocks near the shore in the water.
The house itself was very nice and the deck was great for morning coffee watching the sun rise. The trolly for sending items to/from the parking area to the house was very useful.
The water pressure is fairly light, so be prepared for that. Also, we were under the impression that there would be sofa beds, but the furniture was all new and the sofa beds were no longer available. Pam, the owner, has updated the listing on VRBO to reflect that.
My husband and another couple with our dogs had a lovely stay at this super cute cottage right on the lake. The property was very clean and had all the essentials we needed. Loved the views of the lake. Ample space and was super quiet. Wish we could have stayed for another couple of days.
Wonderful location. Gorgeous views. Especially out over the lake while cooking and doing dishes. Rained off and on but we were still able to enjoy the dock and deck. Stairs down were a challenge - a little slippery after the rain when covered by the leaves and walnuts. Did not leave more than once a day. Having the trolley was a fantastic idea. Too much for our old bodies.
We had a fantastic stay here. It was secluded and quiet, almost like we had the lake to ourselves. First coffee at the adirondack chairs on the seawall, second coffee and brunch on the deck. We paddled up and around long point and back on the kayaks. Smores on the gas firepit. cooked a few meals in the kitchen and on the grill. The location was super too. Smack dab in the middle of wineries, breweries, a few marinas. Our stay was by my measure perfect.
Right on the lake with multiple areas for viewing. The lake is crystal clear and shallow past the dock. Our host, Pam, was very responsive. The house was spotless and well-appointed. Thank goodness for the trolly to bring bags down from the parking area!! There are 50 steps from the car to the house. No washer dryer and you must bring drinking water. One bedroom is in the basement. It was a very comfortable stay and my kids and grandkids enjoyed the kayaks!
