Walking distance to shopping, dining. Close to several beaches on the lake. We stayed here for three days and loved the Gorge hike at Watkins Glen State Park(get there early on weekends to beat the crowds). It was 45 minutes from Palmyra and Fayette, LDS Church history sites and the drives were beautiful country drives. The house was well maintained for an older home. It was a good-sized, enough for four people and two dogs to feel comfortable and do our own thing. They had bedroom air conditioners on the second floor that helped cool the whole first floor during the day and evening. It allowed dogs so we could have our pets with us. We did not realize that it did not have cable and when I sent a question I only got a robotic answer. It was not answered to the home we stayed in.
