The only drawback was unaware of how far it was from the purpose of my trip - to visit family. There are no restaurants and public transportation is quite a way off. However, the owner is very helpful in setting up taxis and food delivery is available (or you can use the taxi and visit the grocery store and cook yourself in the fully equipped kitchen). Roslyn seems to have the main intention of making your stay as unpleasant as possible. What you will find in many other reviews about Roslyn being rude and unhelpful is exactly my experience at this property. I would recommend paying more for another property rather than staying here. It is in a beautiful location and is clean and well kept. It is a little far to walk into Hamilton to get a bus or ferry but taxis can be arranged for $10-12 each way. If you are young and active you can walk this in about 20 min. It is very steep hills.
