The pool is beautiful and appears well maintained though we didn't get a chance to use it. The breakfast buffet was largely made up on Indonesian food selections but all was very tasty. The staff was consistently courteous and helpful. The hotel is well located adjacent to a major thoroughfare and two of Pekanbaru's newer malls. The AC in our room didn't work well and only brought the room down a couple of degrees in temperature so that it never got as cold as we liked it. One other slight complaint from a 10th floor room was the volume of the Karaoke singing coming down from the 11th floor pool bar in the late evening. That happens when the size of the pillowcase is much smalker than the pillow.
