We chose the hotel due it's location mainly, and we were very pleased with our choice. It is a fantastic hotel, big gardens and a great location next to the bay. As we only stayed 1 night, we were in a Kura Kura Room No1. There was no privacy in this room as there was a footpath to sunbeds very close to the window. Other rooms and suites had more privacy. The food and service at the restaurant was good, although we found that 2 different fish dishes, the fish was average, and we have had better in the area. Other dishes, including Breakfast was very good. Poll was excellent, looking out over the bay. In the morning and early afternoon it was not very busy, plenty of shade if needed. Pool service was also good. In the late afternoon, the pool area was quite busy, and the number of sunbeds is limited. We got also surprised that it wasn't possible to swim in the bay! The hotel is very remotely located, but the snorkling at the nearby Menjagan Island is fantastic and that was why we booked this hotel. The hotel staff is very friendly and the food is good. The pool area needs a lot of maintenance and some furnitures were broken.
