Pego da Rainha Waterfall

This was a quick overnight stay before heading to the airport the next morning. The staff was super helpful and accommodating to our slightly early arrival. There was excellent communication prior to our arrival and during our stay. The room was super cute and comfortable, and the fridge was stocked with water (that you had to pay for, but nice to have the option). Overall, I would recommend this place.

Great location. Nicely done room. Helpful staff. Nice kitchen with coffee machine but had to ask and wait for milk. Hotel is a bit hard to walk about due to cobble stones and stairs around. But that’s the area around there. On the flip side the food is amazing around.

WiFi didn’t work for the whole duration. One of our party was working but the WiFi didn’t work at all. The rest of us only needed it for socials but we still couldn’t connect for the whole 9 days. Door handles kept falling off. Asked for a clean from 2 people but it wasn’t done. Had to ask again the following day and it finally was. We had 3 rooms and half didn’t have enough cutlery, one didn’t have a toaster, some got bin bags / dishwasher tables etc. some did not. Inconsistent throughout. Gym equipment was broken (weights). Codes changed on our final evening so we couldn’t get into the property. We then had to find the number and call the property management to give us a new access code. Very inconvenient as it was after midnight. On the upside - the rooms were spacious, clean when we turned up, nice people on reception (when they’re there), nice space, the rooms all seem different, historic looking building, great location, easy for transport.
