"It was a fun experience to sleep in a dome. We saw multiple dear nearby. I didn’t realize the bathroom was separate from the dome originally but it worked out fine."
"Cannot say enough about how incredible this place is. Tom has really set up an amazing spot here. Played two of the best disc golf rounds of my life! Amazing spot, amazing people. "
"The details of the drive in were minimized. once at the property we didn't feel we could leave AND THEN come back due to the disasterous road we had to drive. "
"Base Camp is a hidden gem. If you are lucky enough to find it available and have a sense of adventure this is the spot for you. Tom is an incredible host and truly cares that his guests enjoy themselves. The frisbee golf course is world renowned and kayaking the Colorado river is a blast. Perhaps the best part though is the endless wandering and exploration. See that peak over there? Let’s climb it. You could easily spend a week here enjoying the beauty of creation. Cannot recommend more and looking forward to returning. "
"My Son and I wanted a remote Moab experience and that is what we got. When I made the reservation I noticed it was 17 miles outside of Moab. What I missed was that it takes about 1.2 hours to drive out because it’s located on a trail. It has a road name but I would not consider it a road by most standards. On the way out the first time I was very careful and it took longer. Once we got to the location I felt better about the trip out and it was not as bad as it first seemed and was part of the adventure. You do need 4 wheel drive and some height to the vehicle but a stock Chevy truck had no issues. We went back into town another day to do some biking but I would tell anyone renting to bring your bikes and bring your camping mentality and you will never need to go into town. It was exactly what we wanted and the owner Tom and his team were very friendly and great to talk to. They had lots of suggestions for things to do. My son and I went for long hikes and every place was a bit different. We did not get time to Kayak on the Colorado but the next time we will. We will be back!!"
