They tried to fob me off with a much smaller room with no kitchen or washing machine. I decided to complain so actually got the apartment about 2pm the next day. There was a lot of apologies & a plate of delicious treats to compensate but to be honest I was really gutted to waste a whole day. In the end I booked another night just so I got the break I had needed. The hotel feels quite tired and is definitely in need of renovation — especially the bathroom fixtures, which were old and not functioning properly. Because of this, we had to change rooms during our stay, which was inconvenient. The location is both a plus and a minus. It’s very close to the main bus station, which makes it easy to get around. However, the area itself is quite crowded and not very clean, which took away from the overall experience. With some updates and better maintenance, this hotel could be much better. As it stands, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
