"The room felt clean and comfortable and I love what seem like down pillows! The couch is torn on the edge of the cushion and looks very worn out. But everything else is nice. I like staying at this hotel. :)"

"Front staff was really nice. The pictures on the site are very deceiving. The hotel is run down, not in the greatest of areas. The rooms are also very run down. They obviously do not properly clean the rooms. We spilled water on the floor and the towel we used to clean up the water was black! We kept our shoes on anytime we had to walk around. Would not come back. "

"Lobby, hallways, stairwell/elevator, and outside grounds were dirty/unkept. Staff was nice. Food was mostly undesirable. The pillows were small and not comfortable. Police sirens went off throughout our 8 hour stay (late night and early morning). "

"This hotel needs an overhaul. The rooms are a good size and has potential but it has a lot of deferred maintenance. Our first room has an overwhelming stench of mildew and sewage backup. Found out that the bathtub does not drain so all the wastewater backs up into the tub. We requested another room. The other room had a large break in the shower pan that was covered up with a plastic liner. The shower curtain was also too short allowing water to get all over the bathroom. There was a tree air freshener hanging in the room which was covering up some other scents. A lot of other areas need attention, broken lampshades, burned out lightbulbs, hair that wasn't ours, chairs that are worn down to the point of no cushion, sink aerators that are clogged, trash under the bed from previous guests... the side door is propped open all the time. breakfast had some areas of concern too. the cream cheese is not refrigerated. It's kept out at room temperature constantly. the scrambled eggs have a strange texture, it may be just the way the powdered eggs are. the pool was not working either. a lot of things added up to this not being a good experience. hopefully the owner can see this and address it. it has the potential to be a nice property if they take care of the deferred maintenance."

"Staff was excellent, helpful, attentive. Carpeting in the hallways seemed clean but looked very bad from stains everywhere. If you can get past that, its all good."

"Room was clean and quiet with really comfortable mattress and pillows . The shower had low water pressure enough to be disappointing. Breakfast was OK, but had to wait a few minutes for eggs and biscuits to be ready, which was not an issue for us, but would be if someone was in a hurry. Location was good for walking to nearby restaurants and a Starbucks. Overall, nice for a short stay. "
