"Casal dos Celenis is a lovely hotel. The ambiance is incredible. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is amazing. This gem of a hotel is perfect for a relaxed time away or an intimate wedding."
"Staff veryhelpfull, friendly, such nice clean, organised place. Great views and service. Had a great breakfast and started early for us as we doing Comino. Only down side no evening meals."
"Adequate room but deep in interior of building, and very warm. No air conditioner. I asked for a fan. Nope. I asked to change rooms to the front to maybe catch some cooler air. Nope. Decent enough manager - he comped me a beer one night at the bar downstairs - but customer service went only so far.
Free parking on street, right in front. And a bar-restaurant is attached."
"The only thing I dislike was the noise. My room (113) was right above the adjoining restaurant, and we could hear the noise up to the closing time at midnight. Also, we could hear people in the hallway. Perhaps you may want to get a room in the next level. Otherwise this hotel was just perfect."
"Very friendly staff and they let us check in early. Bed was super firm and this hotel reminded me of a 70’s Vegas hotel. Walk into city was 30 minutes and not a bad walk. "

"Ultra modern hotel with friendly/helpful staff. We only stayed one night on our Santiago pilgrimage but were happy with this pick. AC was awesome especially with the heat wave. The room had some fun modern touches though the weird door thing in the bathtub was inconvenient and difficult to use. We didn't have time to dine at the facility but there were a few restaurants by the monastery that were good. "
"Friendly staff, good breakfast, stylish and comfortable rooms. Good location in the town of Cambados and the swimming was great as it was quite hot during the afternoons when we stayed there."
"One of the nicest, most charming hotels at which we stayed during our recent Camino.
Beautiful hotel in a charming pastoral setting.
Staff was friendly and accommodating.
Only quibble, and a small one: There is a hefty charge for using both the sauna and hot tub. Have never encountered that before. "
"I did not recommend this hotel for those travelers on the Camino de Santiago as it is too far off the Camino. Further the hotel required that we fill out their registration before we can board transportation taking us to the hotel from town. The registration that they sent us would not load unless we were on Wifi and even then it was difficult. Lots of frustration and wasted time in order to stay at this hotel. We ended up taking a taxi. Because it was nowhere close to anything, you were forced to eat dinner at the hotel which was OK but not a restaurant and only one food option which also expensive €33 per person. I sent the hotel a message three weeks in advance asking about a massage time. They never responded and apparently there was no masseuse or at least she wasn't working when I was there. All in all, the only hotel on a three week trip that I do not recommend. "
"We stayed one night while walking the Camino and while it is about 1km away it is well worth the trip. This is a beautiful old family home that you instantly feel welcomed in. Right from the water and cake you are served during check in the host has thought of every little detail for your stay. The pride they show in sharing their home with you is evident in everything around you and how they treat their guest. You feel like a guest not just another traveller.
This is truly a stay not to be missed"
