A message had been sent to my phone but I was unable to access it. Eventually, we found out that the reception at Mariner's Cove was dealing with Captain's Cove: not ideal and very frustrating. The whole resort felt tired and way past its best. Our unit wasn’t clean. Toilet roll holders still had the mostly used rolls from the previous guests. On the terrace area an ashtray was overflowing with cigarette butts. The hot water ran out quickly. The position on the water is great but doesn’t justify the high price. One positive was the king bed that was very comfortable. Paynesville is a lovely spot and our trip to see the koalas on Raymond Island was great.
