"The room was booked through VRBO in Expedia and therefore I did not engage with staff other then when I tried to check in and they notified me it was through VRBO. VRBO host was good and provided clear directives once I contacted them. The hotel had many standard features such as indoor and outdoor pools, but the indoor pools "looked" dirty. Considering it is on the beach, this is the best feature. and all outdoor pools and lounge areas were clean... but I wish the had the food and rink kiosks...

"Only enough coffee in room for one morning, not replenished. Coffee pot style required unique pods , difficult to use coffee we brought. Access to beach very good. Parking limited near room, needed to park in lot across street. Daily replenishment of fresh towels and empty trash was very good."

"Everything was good EXCEPT Wendy the check out lady this AM gave me that classic southern attitude of hey boy you got a dog. Hey boy your credit card declined when it clearly wasn’t. Why do people have to ruin a nice hotel stay especially when you’re having time and being polite. Meh."

"Overall, we had a pretty good stay here. The biggest positives were the location, safety of the area, and overall value for the price. It was very conveniently located to everything in Pawly's: shops, beaches, and restaurants. Most of the amenities were stocked, and it was nice that the hosts provided plenty of beach gear for guests to use, even though we personally didn’t end up needing it.That said, the property does show signs of wear and deferred maintenance. The most concerning issue was the carpet in the living room coming loose and exposing the tack strip underneath, which made walking barefoot dangerous and potentially unsafe. The furnishings, linens, cookware, and other household items were all very budget-level quality — functional, but clearly selected with cost minimization in mind rather than comfort or durability. It was definitely a high volume full-time rental property not a personally cared-for vacation home.The surrounding neighboring properties were also a little rough around the edges, with cluttered yards and chickens roaming nearby, though we never felt unsafe.Overall, if your priorities are location, affordability, and having the basics covered, this place does the job well. "
