"We stayed at Vista Inn for one night while driving from Jasper to Whistler, and overall, it was a good stay. The inn has a pretty pink setup that looks cute and charming. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised that they allowed me to check in early and even asked whether I preferred an upstairs or downstairs room. The reception staff at checkout were equally nice. Breakfast was basic but sufficient, with muffins, cereal, coffee and fruits to start the day. There is also a lovely Indian restaurant on the premises. Indian food is not my usual choice of cuisine, but I am glad I gave it a try because the food was really yummy! The inn is located up a hill, offering some nice scenery. One small disappointment was finding a large stapler pin on the bed, which I suspect may have come from an Uber or takeaway bag. Hopefully, more care can be taken when preparing the rooms. Overall, Vista Inn is a cute, welcoming place to stay, with friendly service, a simple breakfast and a surprisingly good dining option. A good stop for an overnight stay on a road trip."

"Its an older hotel, but I knew that. The bed was amazing and comfortable. The staff was friendly. I sleep best with some kind of noise so the bar downstairs playing music was AMAZING, however who ever had the aux was playing all my favorite music and it took everything in me not to go dancing in my pjs. I will definitely be back for my next kamloops get away."

"The location itself was great if you wanted to be in the downtown area, but beware of all the drug use or active homelessness around. Staff were lovely and very helpful. The pool was clean and empty when we went. The game room was an awesome idea for children! Shame a few of the games were out of order but that's to be expected anywhere. Rooms were good. The room itself was nothing spectacular - more of a motel style in my opinion, but it was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel was worth it if you wanted to spend some $ on games for the kids or go explore the downtown nightlife (lots of bars and shops around)! Overall, best place I've been to in Kamloops for the price."
