10/10 Excellent
"The property was beautiful and perfect for our crew of children ages 16-24. We had 16 in our group. There was plenty of space, had everything we needed, and the communication with the host was very good. The location was amazing and private. It provided all the entertainment our kids needed. They all agreed that this was the best family vacation we have had. We would recommend this property to anyone looking for a fun family get away."

Kabekona Bay on Leech Lake. 3 miles to downtown Walker, MN. West-facing sunset!
8/10 Good
"The home is an older cabin that has grown over the years that gives a very cozy, quaint feel. There are things that could be updated as mentioned in other reviews but overall a nice place to stay. There are a couple of items that are misleading in the description of the home. The twins beds are set up like a trundle bed in a small room with the queen bed which did not work for our group. The rest of the house overall was great! It has a big kitchen and dining space along with two nice bathrooms for many people to stay. The dock is a little old but big and allowed us to keep both our boats tied up in the water. The only thing I didn't notice in the photos was how steep the stairs to get to the dock were. It was ok for us but not always ideal for others. The yard was big and has the best views of the lake and all the beautiful sunsets to make a person never want to leave. If you love wildlife and enjoy watching them this is the home for you. There is an abundance of birds, ducks, squirrels and deer to keep you entertained. This home was overall a great place to stay and enjoy a fishing trip to a beautiful area with the entire family."

Cozy Cabin w/ Private Dock on Fifth Crow Wing Lake
8/10 Good
"The cabin is lovely and the view of the lake is lovely as well. The beds were comfortable (we only used one tbh). The internet service was very strong and I appreciated that there was at least one "office style chair" in the cabin. That made working from the cabin much easier. The mosquitos were chill and we loved seeing the wildlife each morning, whether it was ducks, muskrat, songbirds, or deer. We didn't swim or boat so I can't report on that. It's pretty weedy off the dock so I opted to go fishing in Nevins, but the fishing was great right off the public pier.Really our only issue was the kitchen sink water pressure. I know it's a cabin, but the pressure there was almost non-existent. It made washing dishes take at least twice as long it should have. However, this was only a kitchen faucet issue as the shower pressure was great.Access was easy and the lock worked each time (if you've stayed at a number of VRBOs you know that working locks are not always the norm). Note that it is a gravel road to reach the cabin once you're off the highway. It was quite chilly when we were there but the HVAC worked fine and when it got hot the AC did its job as well.We had dinner one night at Bullwinkle's on 34 and we highly recommend it. I'm not sure I've had a walleye filet that large. And we found a little pop up market at the Red Barn over towards Park Rapids on one random morning which was great."
