Property was perfect for our first trip to Maine and Baxter State Park. Conveniently located to all outdoor activities. Quaint cabin, great for a party of 2
The location and cabin were amazing. Very peaceful and exactly what i was looking for. The host was absolutely great and was always making sure i had all i needed. And had great conversations and stories which made the whole experience that much better. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a great getaway.
Host Robert was super friendly and industrious and very accommodating in every way. His property is simply spectacular! Views and wildlife can't be beat. The cabin is small but comfortable for two. I'd definitely stay again.
This cabin was perfect for our getaway near Baxter State Park. The location was truly stunning and restful, and the cabin had everything we needed for a couple + two teenagers. Our host generously showed us around the property, including mini lessons in forestry and farming, and even shared the farm's (delicious!) potatoes with us. We're already dreaming of going back.

We loved this property! We went for a ATVing weekend. We had everything we needed. Rather comfortable! Spectacular views of a beautiful farm. ATV trails right up the road. We rode roughly 300 miles, and never rode the same trail twice.!
We had a great stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and matched the photos. The location was convenient, and check-in was smooth. The host was responsive and helpful whenever we had questions.
Overall great place for our atv trip. Would stay again. The only negatives i could add would be the hot water ran out fast. Only two quick showers then you would have to wait 15-20 min for the water to heat up again. Also add coat hooks around the house would be nice.
We enjoyed our relaxing stay, gazing at nature and exploring the property. Couldn't ask for a more accommodating host. Everything you could need here. He even brought locally made ice cream for Mom's 91st birthday (and sang along with us while enjoying some cake)
My cousin and I stayed here for a week while hunting and we had an amazing time ! The cabin was clean and stocked like we never left home . If there was something extra we needed , all we had to do was ask and Bob would do his best to accommodate us . Bob is a pure gentleman and runs a beautiful Mt. Chase cabin getaway. If you and your spouse, family member or friend want a quiet & secluded getaway this is the place . We can't speak highly enough about Bob's hospitality and friendliness. He's usually working around the 500 acre farm each day so if you needed anything he would have it to you that day most likely. The views and wildlife are astonishing! Bob's knowledge about the area and folks that live in the surrounding towns is a great resource. Also , Bob is 2nd to none when it comes to hospitality! If you love the outdoors and cabin style vacations, the Black Bear Camp at Mt. Chase is where you need to stay !Till next year, thanks again Bob !
