While situated about 12 miles from the center of downtown Paso, the uniqueness of the property was WELL worth it, providing us access to wineries, Lake Naci, etc. This space is PERFECT for families and adults. We cooked meals in a well appointed kitchen... and played A LOT of billiards. (And loved the old fashioned popcorn-maker) Lance is a thoughtful and responsive host. The walls separating the bedrooms do not go full height and the Queen bedroom can only be located through the Master bedroom. This setup is comfortable but does not allow for privacy and noise cancellation from the rest of the house. We needed a few days to relax and catch our breath, and this was just the spot. Comfy beds, plenty of room to spread out, well stocked kitchen, and a beautiful setting to hike, play evening outdoor games, enjoy each other. If you require privacy from each other, this isn’t your spot. But if you don’t mind an open floor plan and walls that allow a little noise to travel (we had plenty of fans/ white noise) then you’ll be happy to stay where nature is your only neighbor.
