"This is an amazing hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. The food is outstanding as well. What sets the hotel apart from anyplace else I’ve stayed in the world is the building itself … boutique doesn’t quite capture it. It’s basically a hotel combined with an art and history museum. There are fascinating photos, sculptures and artifacts from the 19th early 20th century spread throughout the hotel. I would consider coming back to Jakarta just so I could stay at the House of Tugu. It’s that special."
